1. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lyu Youzhi Faces Trial
Ms. Lyu Youzhi was arrested on January 12, 2026, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was soon released on bail. She was indicted by the procuratorate in September 2026 and is scheduled to be tried in October.
2. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zeng Fanfeng Harassed
Ms. Zeng Fanfeng was harassed home on September 15, 2026, by three officers from Longfeng Police Station, the Party secretary of the Mamuhe Village Committee, and two other employees. They ordered her to sign the three statements to renounce Falun Gong. She refused to comply.
3. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Yuhua Arrested, Ms. Hao Cunlan and Ms. Liu Sufang Harassed
Ms. Guo Yuhua was arrested on September 20, 2026, by Song Weiguang, director of Xiahuayuan District Domestic Security Division. She was taken to the Zhangjiakou City Lockup the following afternoon and detained for 13 days.
Ms. Hao Cunlan and Ms. Liu Sufang were harassed by three officers from the Anjiabu Township Police Station on the afternoon of September 1, 2026. The officers took photos of the women without their consent.
4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Shumei Arrested
Ms. Li Shumei was arrested by Xinzhaizi Police Station officers on September 21, 2026, after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. Due to her poor health, she was deemed unfit for detention and released under residential surveillance.
5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xuemei Arrested
Ms. Wang Xuemei was reported to the police on September 22, 2026, at the Nanhouzhigou Farmers Market for talking to people about Falun Gong, She was later arrested and held in Yantai City First Detention Center.
6. [Tai’an City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhao Weidong Released From Prison
Mr. Zhao Weidong was released from prison on September 11, 2026, after completing a two-year term.
7. [Chengde, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Fengxia Tried; Ms. Guo Yuxia Taken Into Custody
Ms. Chen Fengxia was tried in the Shuangqiao District Court on August 25, 2026, and is now awaiting a verdict.
Ms. Guo Yuxia was arrested on September 6, 2026, after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was held in the Chengde City Lockup Center for 12 days and has been released.
8. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Jinghua Arrested
Ms. Guo Jinghua was forced to live away from home for years due to long term persecution. When she recently returned home for the busy farming season, fellow villagers reported her. Officers from Mazhuang Township Police Station scaled the fence and broke into her home on September 23, 2026. They arrested her and took her to a detention center.
9. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Cai Ruizhen Released
Ms. Cai Ruizhen was released from the Shantou City Detention Center on September 19, 2026.
10. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fu Liping Arrested
Ms. Fu Liping was arrested by Liuying Police Station officers on September 3, 2026. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Shijiazhuang City Second Detention Center.
11. [Wei County, Hebei Province] Ms. Ren Shulan Harassed
Ms. Ren Shulan was harassed at home by officials from Daxinzhuang Township on September 9, 2026. They took pictures of her against her will.
12. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Song Ruhui and Her Husband Harassed
Ms. Song Ruhui and her husband were harassed at home by Beixi Township Police Station officers on September 2 and 18, 2026. The officers ordered the couple to sign a statement to renounce and denounce Falun Gong. They refused to comply.
13. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Eight Practitioners Harassed
Since May 2026, Lunan Police Station officers have harassed at least eight Falun Gong practitioners in their jurisdiction. They are: Ms. Liu Xia, Zhang, Ms. Chu Shu’e, Mr. Ma Decai, Ms. Deng Guiyun, Mr. Liu Changfu, Ms. Liu Xiuying, and Ms. Tian Shuzhen. The officers searched Zhang’s home and confiscated a printer and other personal items.
