(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 20 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Ms. He Guixia Officially Arrested
2. [Zhangbei County, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Jingyu Arrested
3. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Tang Zhiwei and His Wife, Ms. Liu Xuemei, Taken to Prison
4. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Li Yun Detained
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Bo Wenqin Arrested
6. [Wudi County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Jinrui and Mr. Zhao Rusheng Remain in Custody
7. [Anguo City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xing Cailing Arrested
8. [Botou City, Hebei Province] Ten Practitioners Harassed and One Arrested
1. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Ms. He Guixia Officially Arrested
Ms. He Guixia was issued an arrest warrant in September 2026.
2. [Zhangbei County, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Jingyu Arrested
Ms. Lu Jingyu was arrested at home on October 23, 2026.
3. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Tang Zhiwei and His Wife, Ms. Liu Xuemei, Taken to Prison
Ms. Liu Xuemei and her husband, Mr. Tang Zhiwei, were both sentenced to eight year prison sentences in April 2026. Ms. Liu was admitted to the Guangdong Province Women’s Prison on September 17, 2026. It’s unclear which prison Mr. Tang was taken to.
4. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Li Yun Detained
Ms. Li Yun was photographed and reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong on the street on October 1, 2026. Seven officers from the Dongdajie Police Station ransacked her home at noon. They confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong and Falun Gong books. They interrogated and verbally abused her. They also took blood samples from her, forced her to take a physical exam, and took her to Xixiang County Lockup Center that night for 10 days.
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Bo Wenqin Arrested
Ms. Bo Wenqin was arrested on September 11, 2026.
6. [Wudi County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Jinrui and Mr. Zhao Rusheng Remain in Custody
Ms. Zhao Jinrui and her elder brother, Mr. Zhao Rusheng, were arrested in early July 2026, and have been detained since.
7. [Anguo City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xing Cailing Arrested
Ms. Xing Cailing, in her early 80s, was arrested on September 24, 2026, for carrying printouts with information about Falun Gong. The police confiscated a Falun Gong book from her home. She was released later that day.
8. [Botou City, Hebei Province] Ten Practitioners Harassed and One Arrested
Practitioners Zhang Changjiang, Zhang Xiufen, Wang Yuling, Wang Shengjiang, Zhou Yuzhi, Yang Rongchun, Dai Dongkun, Dai Xiuwu, Zhao Fengge, Wu, and Zhang Jinshan were harassed in October 2026.
Mr. Zhang Jinshan was arrested at home by four officers on September 10, 2026. They confiscated six Falun Gong books, and forcibly took him to the Botou Police Station. He was released shortly after. Eight officers returned to his home on October 16 and seized all of his Falun Gong books. They took him to the case handling center for interrogation and released him hours later.
