(Minghui.org) In traditional Chinese culture, people hang up auspicious couplets, New Year paintings, and the character “Fu” (meaning blessing) on their doors and walls to bring in a prosperous coming year.
Since Minghui.org publishes beautiful New Year greetings in such formats, Falun Dafa practitioners in our area have offered them to people every year. In doing so, they also talk with predestined people about Dafa.
There was a huge market in our neighboring county about ten days before the 2026 Chinese New Year. I went there with rolls of (Fu) signs and exquisite pendants to hand out to people, hoping that they would be blessed by Dafa and have a bright future.
The location is centrally located, and the marketplace is always bustling with crowds – sometimes drawing more than ten thousand people just before the New Year, an ideal place for us to connect with the local people.
That day, the huge market was packed with people, surging like waves. I carried rolls of “Fu” signs on my back, and handed them out to people in the crowds. At the live poultry section, people were crowding around to receive something from me.
One man said, “It would be better if you offered us some money.”
My response was, “What I give you is much better than money, because it offers you safety.”
Before I could finish, a man who had just gotten a roll of “Fu” said, “She is right. This can offer us safety while money can’t.”
“Well, in that case, I would like to have one, too,” the man said eagerly, and looked very happy when I gave him a roll of such signs.
I moved on to the vegetable market at the north end, and handed out the auspicious items along the way. I walked up to a young lady selling homegrown vegetables and greeted her warmly as I gave her a “Fu” sign, “Hello, I’m here to bring you blessings.”
She happily accepted the sign and showed it to the woman next to her, saying, “This is really nice!” That woman then asked for one as well and many others came over wanting to get one, too. I gave each of them a “Fu” sign, and they all thanked me, with joyful smiles on their faces.
I came to a market selling fruits next, and offered a stall owner a roll of the signs, “Hello, I would like to wish you a Happy New Year!” He was pleased and said, “My family has quite a few doors, and each needs a good sign like this.” So, I gave him another roll, and each roll had two signs.
“Thank you! But we have six doors altogether,” he said eagerly. So, I gave him two more signs. He was really happy and kept thanking me, “Wow, I’ve got enough now. A New Year is coming, and you’ve brought me such blessings. Thank you so much!”
I then moved on to the clothing section of the market, handing out signs along with beautiful pendants. When I offered a “Fu” sign to a neatly-dressed middle-aged man, he didn’t take it, but stared at me blankly. I became alert, thinking: Could he be a plainclothes policeman? I’d better send forth righteous thoughts.
Just then, he gave me a big smile and said excitedly, “Auntie, at your senior age, you are taking the trouble to offer me blessings! Thank you very much for your kindness! I feel deeply grateful!”
“It’s my pleasure. There’s no need to thank me,” I said to him kindly and moved on.
I came to another fruit and vegetable market, giving people rolls of “Fu” signs as I walked along, and receiving their heartfelt thanks at the same time. I know in my heart that they were in fact being grateful to Master and Dafa.
I soon ran out of all of the “Fu” signs, as well as the pendants I had brought with me. I kept thanking Master in my heart for his compassionate protection all along. I would not have been able to do anything like this without Master’s most kind encouragement and protection.
That night, as I was half asleep, I saw through my celestial eye countless sentient beings in a vast cosmos, like a boundless ocean with no end; then I heard beautiful music playing, and many beings dressed in golden garments came into my view. They stood upright in the immense universe, in perfect order and alignment, with their faces all turning towards me. I felt extremely excited and touched; a little later, I saw a line of neatly placed pendants with “Fu” characters, each one was inlaid into translucent white jade. The upper part surrounding each “Fu” character was intricately carved with exquisite patterns, with a beautiful flower on top of the character. The entire craftsmanship appeared exceptionally delicate and refined.
I’m sharing the above to thank all those sentient beings for their encouragement and to express my immense gratitude to Master for granting me these abilities, urging me to be more diligent in helping him save more lives.
