(Minghui.org) I am a Falun Dafa practitioner who began cultivating before July 20, 1999. Amidst this persecution imposed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), I have weathered storms and hardships. Though my path has been arduous, over the past three decades, under the compassionate protection of our great Master Li Hongzhi, I have steadfastly cultivated Falun Dafa without wavering.
I have consistently carried out the responsibilities that a Dafa disciple should undertake during this period of Fa-rectification—never faltering, whether under sunny skies or rain, in bitter cold or scorching heat. I will now share several stories of my experiences while sharing information about Falun Dafa with others.
Lung Cancer Resolved
Yunlai (a pseudonym) was laid off from a foreign-affiliated company, along with dozens of other employees who were suddenly terminated, leaving him without a salary and ineligible for benefits because he hadn’t reached retirement age.
Compounding his troubles, he had divorced twice. His eldest son from his first marriage was in his twenties and serving in the military. His second wife had abandoned their young son and left. Facing a difficult life and feeling deeply depressed, he sank into depression, drowning his sorrows in constant drinking and smoking.
One morning in the winter of 2008, I ran into him at the entrance of our neighborhood. His face looked ashen and utterly lifeless. Startled, I asked him, “Yunlai, what happened to you? Why do you look like this?!”
He said weakly, “I’ve been coughing and running a fever for a long time, and the medicine hasn’t helped. I went to the hospital for a checkup. After the doctor took an X-ray, he told me I needed to be hospitalized. I lost my job and have not had any income since. I have no idea how I’ll cover the hospital bills.” As he spoke, he began to weep bitterly.
Seeing this, my heart grew heavy too. I comforted him, saying, “Don’t be sad. The ancient Chinese medical texts say that worry harms the lungs. Your illness stems from anxiety and worry. Some illnesses can’t be cured by doctors or medicine. So we turn to the gods and Buddhas. From now on, don’t think about anything else. Just focus your mind on repeating: ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ Master Li will protect you and help you safely navigate this ordeal.” He immediately followed my suggestion and began reciting the words.
Yunlai told me, “I believe what you say, and from now on, I will sincerely recite these words.” At the same time, he readily withdrew from the Young Pioneers he had once joined. Because he had witnessed the tremendous changes in me before and after I started practicing, Yunlai was able to understand the truth about Falun Dafa.
Three days later, I ran into him again in the courtyard. He looked radiant and refreshed, a complete transformation from three days prior. He happily told me, “I’m cured! My lung cancer is gone! I insisted on being discharged, but the doctors wouldn’t let me, saying they needed to take more X-rays.”
The doctors all said it was unbelievable! An unprecedented case in medical history! They brought in specialists who wanted to know what secret remedy Yunlai had used and how he had recovered so quickly. He told them that no secret remedy was used and stated, “I just believe in gods and Buddhas. Every day I recited ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ until I got better. It was the gods and Buddhas who saved me!”
Then he told me that the doctor took X-rays and revealed the truth, that the initial images showed bilateral lung shadows, cavities, and ulceration. Combined with his clinical symptoms, he was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer, with a maximum life expectancy of thirty days.
However, after reciting the auspicious phrases, subsequent X-rays showed clear, transparent, and smooth lungs—perfectly healthy. He showed me both X-rays, and I saw it was true. Medical school experts and attending physicians all congratulated him! They were also stunned, declaring his case an inexplicable medical miracle!
His miraculous story caused a great stir among his former co-workers, in our neighborhood, and among his relatives and friends. Everyone learned that “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and that it was Falun Dafa that saved him!
“Falun Dafa is Good” Protected My Nephew and His Friends From a Fatal Accident
My nephew serves as the CCP branch secretary in a rural village. Whenever his family has the chance to return home, I share with them the truth about Falun Dafa. They listen attentively, and the entire family has withdrawn from the CCP and related organizations. Each of them also pledged to sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good” every day.
In 2016, my nephew and two friends were driving in their car to run an errand. On the way, they crashed at a sharp curve on the highway. The car slammed into the iron guardrail on the right side of the road, damaging both the vehicle and the barrier. Yet all three of them stood unharmed beside the car on the roadside, unable to fathom how they had managed to get out of the vehicle.
When the traffic policeman arrived at the scene, he was amazed! He said, “This place frequently sees serious traffic accidents, resulting in either fatalities or severe injuries. You are truly incredibly lucky. The car is destroyed, but you are completely unharmed. You must have been protected by a higher power!”
Afterward, my nephew said to me, “Auntie, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ is truly miraculous! If I hadn’t regularly recited the auspicious phrases, I might not have survived this car accident! Thank you, Dafa, thank you, Master Li, for saving my life, and thank you, Auntie.”
After hearing his thrilling story, I was genuinely happy for them. I said, “Don’t thank me—it was Master Li who saved you. You should all be grateful for Master’s salvation! From now on, do more good deeds, perform acts of kindness, and above all, support Dafa and protect its practitioners.”
My nephew replied, “That’s for sure!”
I have consistently followed all of Master’s teachings when telling people the truth about Falun Dafa. Whether I am in a taxi or bus, visiting relatives, shopping, strolling in a park, or attending rural fairs - I never forget my mission of helping Master Li to save more people.
I proudly convey the beauty of Falun Dafa to everyone I meet, thereby enabling more people to be awakened. No matter how difficult it may be, I will heed Master’s words, strengthen my righteous thoughts, and cultivate diligently.
