(Minghui.org) Now 80 years old, I began practicing Falun Dafa at the age of 53 in 1998. I have stumbled and fallen on my cultivation path as I have gradually come to understand what little I do of the Fa teachings. In the future, I will cultivate more diligently to keep up with the Fa-rectification and return home with Master Li. During my years of cultivation, I have experienced two miraculous events that I would like to share.
Frozen Water Pipe Thaws
I lived on the second floor of a building above a factory. My house was poorly insulated, and the heating system was inadequate. I had to wear a heavy coat and trousers indoors in the winter. On the coldest days, I had to leave the inside water faucet dripping to keep the pipes from freezing.
The winter of 2013 was exceptionally cold. Because I forgot to leave the tap running, the pipes froze, so we could not get any water inside the apartment. The water in the pipes would not thaw until the weather warmed up in the spring. I remembered that Dafa is omnipotent, so I asked Master for help.
I patted the water pipe and said, “You are also here for the Fa. We will recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ together and ask Master for blessings so that the water will run as normal.”
The next morning when I turned on the faucet, water ran out like it was supposed to! Falun Dafa is truly wonderful. With tears of gratitude, I thanked Master for his compassion.
Riding Home on an Uncharged Electric Bike
One spring day, I forgot to charge my electric bike before riding it to a fellow practitioner’s house about 13 miles away. I could not charge it at the fellow practitioner’s because I hadn’t brought the charger with me. The same thing happened once before when I forgot to bring the charger. That time when the electric bike ran out of power, I had to push it all the way home.
This time, once again, the bike didn’t have enough power to get me home. What could I do? I then remembered that, as a Dafa practitioner, I can use supernormal abilities with righteous thinking.
I said to the bike, “I thank you for transporting me for so many years. I am sorry I did not charge your battery today. You have also assimilated to and validated Dafa. Let us work together. I will recite the two phrases while you charge up on our way home.”
Without looking at the power meter, I hopped on the bike and rode away, feeling as if I were traveling in another dimension. Along the way, I heard the wind whistling and saw a large Law Wheel occasionally floating above me. The bike and I flew like a bird, reaching home in no time.
Dafa is omnipotent. I was grateful to Master for protecting me that day. I also thanked the electric bike for getting me home. Together, the bike and I witnessed the extraordinary power of Dafa.
Master, please be assured that I will truly cultivate myself from now on and return to my true home with you.
