(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Zhanbo Facing Trial
Mr. Zhao Zhanbo was scheduled to stand trial by the Dadong District Court on March 17, 2026.
2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Lihua Develops Brain Hemorrhage While Serving Wrongful Term
Ms. Zhang Lihua was admitted to the Heilongjiang Province Women’s Prison in June 2025, to serve a term of three years and four months. She suffered a brain hemorrhage in early February 2026 and underwent brain surgery. Her family paid over 100,000 yuan for her surgery. She has since been returned to the prison.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Yuqing Harassed
Ms. Zhang Yuqing was harassed by Binhe Police Station officers in early February 2026, and ordered to write statements renouncing Falun Gong. She refused to comply. The police harassed her again in March 5, 2026, and demanded that she go to the police station, which she did.
4. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Xiuying Under Residential Surveillance
Ms. Wang Xiuying, in her 80s, was under close surveillance by two persons outside her home in early March 2026, when the annual plenary sessions of the National People’s Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference were taking place in Beijing.
5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Fengmei Detained
Ms. Wang Fengmei was arrested at home by Nanshan Road Police Station officers on November 23, 2025, and her home was ransacked. She is currently being held in the Fushan Detention Center.
6. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Xie Hong Detained at a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Xie Hong, around 50, was harassed twice, in October 2025 and on February 28, 2026, by Song Huafu from Xiaoyaojin Residential Committee Office, Chen Zongbao from local neighborhood committee, and Wan Renlei, deputy chief of the Yimin Police Station. They went to her workplace and ordered her to write statements to renounce Falun Gong. She refused.
On the morning of March 5, 2026, Ms. Xie was arrested at work by officers from the Yimin Police Station. They took her directly to a brainwashing center at Shuangfeng Development Zone in Changfeng County.
7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Ma Ling Missing
Ms. Ma Ling, around 70, went missing on January 24, 2026. Local Falun Gong practitioners tried to call her, only to get a message saying that her phone was turned off.
8. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Huang Guiquan and Practitioner Xin Arrested
Mr. Huang Guiquan, in his 70s, and Xin, in his 50s, both work at a factory in Jiedong District. They were arrested by officers from the Jiedong District Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of February 26, 2026, and their homes were ransacked.
9. [Junan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Huaicai Tried
Ms. Li Huaicai was arrested in early 2024 for sending text messages about Falun Gong, and later released on bail. She was recently indicted by the Linshu County Procuratorate. She was summoned to the Linshu County Court on February 26, 2026, only to be arrested upon arrival and taken straight to the Linyi Detention Center. She was tried on March 5, 2026.
10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhu Chunrong Harassed
Ms. Zhu Chunrong returned home one day in September 2025 to find her place in a complete mess, and with a different lock on the door. Someone had broken in and taken away a Falun Gong book and three paintings. They changed the lock before leaving.
Ms. Zhu reported the incident to the police, but they refused to investigate. She was forced to move, resulting in financial losses of over 11,000 yuan. The police found her not long after and harassed her again.
11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Four practitioners in Paoya New Village were arrested on the evening of March 2, 2026, by more than ten officers from the Beijing Street Police Station and Xigang District Police Department. Ms. Zhou Lijuan and a practitioner whose name wasn’t known have been released. Ms. Zhou Lizhu and Liu are detained in the Yaojia Detention Center.
