(Minghui.org) I’m in my 80s, and I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. With Master’s protection, I've made it through many trials and tribulations. I’d like to tell you about some of my cultivation experiences and clarify the facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution.
Telling People About Falun Dafa at the Morning Market
The morning market near my home is very popular, attracting thousands of people from surrounding villages and towns every day, so it’s a great place to tell people about Falun Dafa. In 2001, three practitioners routinely went to the market. Now, more than 20 go there to tell people about Falun Dafa and the persecution.
We initially had no printed materials. Instead we carefully wrote phrases like, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” “Falun Dafa is righteous!” on posters and sheets of paper. We posted them at stalls and other locations in the market, and we also put hand-written flyers on delivery trucks, tricycles, motorcycles, and bicycles.
We were later able to print materials, which we distributed to people at every stall, including meat, fish, vegetable, fruit and food stalls. We explained that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) fabricated the staged Tiananmen self-immolation incident to slander Falun Dafa, deceive people, and persecute practitioners.
We started advising people to quit the CCP and its organizations in 2005. Many stall owners and customers learned the truth about Falun Dafa and quit the CCP and its organizations. Some stall owners shouted “Falun Dafa is good!” whenever they saw me. They also shared their stories of how they were blessed after learning the truth about Falun Dafa.
Some told me they were not infected during the COVID pandemic. Others said they used to believe the CCP’s propaganda and even destroyed copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. They later suffered from persistent fevers. After Falun Dafa practitioners explained the truth to them, they realized their mistakes and quit the CCP and its organizations, and their fevers went away overnight. They all said, “Thank you! Falun Dafa practitioners saved us.” I replied, “If you want to thank someone, thank Master Li. He asked us to help people.” Some stall owners said, “After I learned about Falun Dafa, I stopped cheating on weights and measures, because I understood that I lose virtue when I do that.” Seeing people awakening, I felt gratified.
A Police Officer Understands the Truth
As more and more practitioners began clarifying the truth, some of us went to markets in other villages and towns to tell people about Falun Dafa and advise them to quit the CCP and its organizations.
When I was telling people about Falun Dafa at one market, a police officer suddenly appeared in front of me. I thought, “Police officers are also waiting to be saved. I should follow Master’s teachings and help them.” Before he could speak, I said, “Hello, Officer! Have you heard of quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations to stay safe?”
He said, “I’ve heard of it, but I don’t know what it’s about.”
I explained, “Falun Dafa teaches Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and teaches people to be good. Jiang Zemin fabricated lies to slander Falun Dafa. The Tiananmen self-immolation was staged to deceive people. Good and evil are rewarded accordingly—this is a heavenly principle. The CCP persecutes Falun Dafa, and Heaven will eliminate it. Only by quitting its organizations can one ensure one’s safety. You can quit using a nickname, because Heaven knows your heart.”
He understood and agreed to quit the CCP. He said, “I’m a policeman. What can I do?”
I said, “If you protect Falun Dafa practitioners, you’ll be blessed. You can tell your family, friends, and relatives the truth about Falun Dafa and advise them to quit the CCP and its organizations.” He agreed, and I gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries and a booklet about Falun Dafa.
Not long after, while I was handing out the Nine Commentaries to people at a market, that police officer approached us. When people saw him, they were frightened and dared not take the booklets. He walked over and took a copy from me. When they saw him take one, the others did the same. The officer, who recognized me, said, “Ma’am, there are a lot of bicycles over there. You can put a copy in each one of them.” I thanked him sincerely.
People Who Understood the Truth Encouraged to Shout, “Long live Li Hongzhi!”
A man in his 50s who was selling groceries understood the truth about Falun Dafa. Seeing me explaining the facts to people, he announced, “The Party is evil! Party members are corrupt, they harvest organs for profit, and they do all sorts of evil! You should all quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations to ensure your safety and not become their sacrificial lambs. After you quit, you can all shout ‘Long live Li Hongzhi!’”
I added, “Reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ will bring blessings, turn misfortune into good fortune, and keep you safe during calamities.” Others came, took the materials, and quit the CCP.
People Realize the CCP Lives Off of Our Tax Money
When I talked to a man in his 50s, he shouted, “You eat the Party’s food, spend the Party’s money, and the Party keeps you alive, yet you still oppose it?!” Seeing that he was deeply poisoned by the Party’s lies, I said, “Sir, the Party doesn’t work in the fields or factories. Our tax money supports them. If you don’t work, will you have food on your table?”
He said, “If I don’t work, I won’t have food on my table. We support ourselves with our own hands. Okay, I understand that the Party lives off of our tax money.” Seeing that he understood, I continued, “After taking power, the Party committed countless evil. The Three-Anti and Five-Anti Campaigns, the Cultural Revolution, the Tiananmen Square Massacre, the persecution of Falun Dafa, and forced organ harvesting killed over 80 million Chinese people. Heaven will destroy the CCP. As a member of its organizations, how can you not be in danger? Only by quitting the CCP and its organizations can you ensure your safety.” He said, “I’m a Party member. I’ll quit it.” Then he asked for truth-clarification materials and amulets.
The Amulet Saves Lives
I met a man in his 60s riding a tricycle, Two amulets that read “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” dangled from his handlebars. When he saw me, he said, “I’ve read all the truth-clarification materials you gave me. You [Falun Dafa practitioners] are all good people. The CCP’s lies on TV deceived us all. Can I have another amulet?”
I asked, “You already have two. Why do you want another?” His eyes lit up with excitement, “Last time on my way home from the market, I accidentally rode my tricycle into a large ditch by the road. The tricycle overturned with four of us on it. Miraculously, none of us were injured. I believe the amulets protected us, so I want another one.” I reassured him, “One is enough. It’s Falun Dafa that saved you. The amulet says ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ on it.” He said, “Okay, I understand.” He smiled and rode away.
A woman in her 40s at the market ran up to me, all excited, saying, “Reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’ is miraculous! During the pandemic, I had a fever that lasted for nine days. I remembered that you told me to recite those phrases when disaster strikes. I recited them for three days, and I was fine! It’s truly amazing!” I said, “You should thank Master Li Hongzhi. It’s Master who helped you.”
