(Minghui.org) I worked at a coal mine in Northeast China before I retired. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution my manager asked me to attend a safety training course which was held by the Bureau’s Education Department.
A person told me that one of the teachers said bad things about Falun Dafa and defamed Master. Other people said this teacher was evil. I knew I needed to stop him. After class, I wanted to go to his office to clarify the truth to him about Falun Dafa and the persecution. I was worried that he wouldn’t be receptive and afterward his behavior would be worse. I wanted to stop him from criticizing Master and Dafa and causing others to do the same.
During the next class he talked about how to prevent fires, stay safe, rescue operations, and so on. When he talked about rescuing people, he mentioned the CCP-staged Tiananmen self-immolation hoax. He slandered Master and Falun Dafa and said a practitioner set himself on fire. There were more than 50 people in the room and everyone laughed.
I stood up and said, “Stop!” He stood motionless on stage, holding a piece of chalk.
Everyone in the room was silent. I said, “The Tiananmen self-immolation was staged by the CCP to frame Falun Dafa. The International Education Development announced at the United Nations that this was a hoax. Think about it, everyone. Wang Jindong seemed to be burned but why was the plastic bottle that was filled gasoline between his legs still intact?”
Someone in the room said, “That sounds reasonable.”
I continued, “That little girl’s throat was cut, but she was still able to speak and could even sing. She loudly called for her aunt. Can you believe that? To add on, a burn ward should be kept disinfected. But that reporter who was not wearing protective clothing entered the room and interviewed her. Also, when have you seen police officers carrying fire extinguishers patrolling Tiananmen Square? Isn’t it obvious that this was staged!”
The people looked at one another and nodded their heads in agreement.
I continued, “Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa and is practiced by people in more than 100 countries around the world. The books have been translated into dozens of languages. Falun Dafa teaches people to be good and follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance—to not fight back when hit, and endure insults without responding, be considerate, and look within during conflicts, and improve themselves. Practitioners have harmonious families and enjoy good health. In contrast, take a look at the CCP: corruption runs rampant; no official is free of graft–petty officials engage in corruption, while high-ranking officials commit colossal acts of embezzlement.”
The moment I mentioned the CCP they began to criticize it.
I continued, “You see what’s happening to society. The atmosphere is toxic—people engage in schemes and deceive each other. They harm others in order to advance their personal interests.” I also said, “When Falun Dafa practitioners distribute materials to clarify the truth they risk being arrested and sent to forced labor camps or prisons. Aren’t you worried about the consequences when you continue to defame Master and Dafa?
“Please wake up and stop being so deluded.” The teacher stood still, as though he was frozen. After I mentioned consequences he seemed to wake up. He clasped his hands together, and said twice, “Sorry, I am wrong. I won’t do this again.”
Then he said, “That’s all for today.”
I felt sorry for him as I watched him walk away. It seemd most of the people in the room understood. While I spoke someone said, “Yes, that makes sense.” Another person said, “That’s correct.” Some of them gave me a thumbs up and said, “What you said was great!”
After the class many people crowded around me. Someone said, “I really admire Falun Dafa practitioners.” I received many compliments.
Of course, some individuals did not agree. A middle-ranking official said, “I don’t agree with Falun Dafa.”
I asked, “Why not?”
He replied, “You people paste so many stickers on the walls that it affects the environment.”
I replied, “Isn’t that better than pasting advertisements? The advertisements can’t be removed.”
Someone said, “That’s correct.”
I said, “Falun Dafa is being wronged. The perpetrators cannot be sued in China so practitioners use all sorts of methods to tell people that Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa.”
I asked him, “Have you read the truth-clarifying materials?” He said no. I said, “Please take a look. Everything written in them is true.”
I added, “Don’t listen to what the CCP broadcasts on TV and in the media, it’s all lies.”
The others said, “That’s true.”
He said, “I don’t know what I learned today [referring to the training class] but I understood everything that you said, and it’s quite good.”
This incident happened many years ago. I just wanted to share it with you.
