(Minghui.org) Sending forth righteous thoughts is one of the three things Master requires us to do well, and it is of paramount importance. All practitioners must do it well.
In the past, I simply followed the content published on Minghui.org to send forth righteous thoughts. I sometimes diligently recited the formulas silently in my heart, but I didn’t feel a sense of immersion in the process. I recently read Master’s article “Righteous Thoughts” again, as well as articles from the Minghui Editorial Board about sending forth righteous thoughts. Master tells us that when we send forth righteous thoughts:
“You should focus your attention and your effort, your mind has to be absolutely clear and rational, the force of your thoughts needs to be focused and strong, with an air of supremacy and of destroying all evil in the cosmos.” (“Righteous Thoughts,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress III)
When I send forth righteous thoughts, and after I finish saying the formula, this sentence immediately enters my mind, influencing my mind and body. My body becomes upright, gigantic, and incomparably tall (in other dimensions), and with my palm held in front of my chest, exuding immense majesty, I am able to “ ... focus powerful thoughts in saying the word mie ... ” (“Righteous Thoughts,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress III)
I expand the word mie infinitely in my mind.
Master taught us,
“The mie word needs to be so strong that it’s as large as the cosmic body, encompassing everything and leaving out nothing in any dimension.” (“Righteous Thoughts,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress III)
I don’t know exactly how large the cosmic body is, so I extend the word mie infinitely in my mind, and I feel my gong eliminating all evil in the cosmos.
Master said,
“For a practitioner, one’s mind-intent dictates supernormal abilities to do things.” (Lecture Nine, Zhuan Falun)
I think that wherever my mind-intent goes, my supernormal abilities can go there to eliminate the evil. During the process, I can feel powerful energy emanating from the top of my head and palms, and my entire body is enveloped by powerful energy. I can send forth righteous thoughts for a greatly extended time.
When sending forth righteous thoughts for the first five minutes to clear my own dimensional field, I silently recite the Fa:
“ ... thinking about eliminating the bad thoughts in their minds, their karma, bad notions, and external interference.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference,” Guiding the Voyage)
After that, I do not specifically think about the bad thoughts I had. Sometimes I could not concentrate, and that made the cleansing less effective. Some thoughts and notions that I wasn’t aware were bad entered my mind, too. Now, when I cleanse my thoughts, I focus on one thought, eliminating all thoughts, notions, and external interference that are not in line with Dafa.
After doing that, I have felt that my thoughts have become much clearer in my daily life. In the past, I sometimes felt anxious and irritable when I saw the chaos in society, especially when I saw people close to me being swept along in society’s corruption. I’d feel disappointed in people who refused to listen to the facts. I’ve realized that my feelings were all caused by the emotion I was attached to, something that I need to let go of in the process of cultivation. As I continuously clear the thoughts in my mind that are not in line with Dafa, I’m able to view things with righteous thoughts, and my mindset has become much more peaceful.
I have extended the time to cleanse myself each time I send forth righteous thoughts. To remain synchronized with global sending forth righteous thoughts, I start clearing my own dimensional field a little earlier.
Master taught us,
“To reduce the losses, and to save sentient beings, put your Dafa disciples’ powerful righteous thoughts to full use! Show your Mighty Virtue!” (“Righteous Thoughts,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress III)
Above are some of my recent insights on sending forth righteous thoughts. If there are any points that are not in line with Dafa, I hope practitioners will kindly point them out.
