(Minghui.org) Shen Yun Performing Arts has returned to Northern Europe and will present five shows in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, from March 30 to April 2, 2026.
Many people in the southern Swedish province of Skåne, which is separated from Copenhagen by a single bridge, have long awaited this event. To commemorate Shen Yun’s 20th anniversary, Nima Gholam Ali Pour, a Member of the Swedish Parliament (MP) who represents the region, sent a letter of greeting on March 24, warmly welcoming Shen Yun back to Scandinavia.
Nima Gholam Ali Pour MP sent a letter to welcome Shen Yun to Scandinavia.
The letter reads, “At a time when artistic expression, cultural heritage, and freedom of belief are challenged in various parts of the world, your work carries a significance that goes beyond the stage. By presenting classical Chinese culture and sharing stories that reflect both history and contemporary realities, you contribute to a broader understanding of the importance of freedom, dignity, and human rights.
“Open societies depend on the ability of artists and cultural institutions to express themselves freely, without fear or interference. Your presence in our region is therefore not only a cultural event, but also a reminder of the values that underpin democratic societies.”
