(Minghui.org) Foreword: This article recounts my eldest daughter’s dreams of a Buddha’s paradise. Her extraordinary experience prompted me to record her experience. Her dreams are presented in the form of dialogue between my daughter and me. In reality, our conversations were lengthier as I needed further clarification of some aspects. For this sharing, revisions and deletions were made to our original conversation to improve readability. However, this shortened version remains accurate without fabrication of contents, and readers should not doubt the article’s authenticity.

My daughter is in second grade and has been practicing Falun Dafa for three months. She mainly listens to recordings of Master Li Hongzhi’s lectures and has memorized some poems from Hong Yin. Each day, she reads Hong Yin and sends forth righteous thoughts before falling asleep. She saw a bright passage only a few days after she started studying Dafa, and later, a large eye (her third eye) staring at her. Although my daughter has seen many miraculous sights, none have been as wondrous and extraordinary as these dreams.

Dreaming of a Sacred Buddha’s Realm

One morning, I went to wake my daughter so we could listen to Master’s teachings together. I gently shook her, but she remained fast asleep. I decided to let her sleep a while longer and went to study the teachings on my own. After finishing, I went into the bedroom shared by my daughter and wife, only to see my daughter already sitting up in bed.

She drowsily told me, “I’ve been trying to wake up for a while, but I’m still sleepy.”I replied, “Take your time,” and sat down next to her.

My daughter said, “Let us talk in your room after breakfast.”

Due to space constraints, my wife and two daughters sleep in one room while I sleep in another. My wife is not a Falun Dafa practitioner, so my daughter and I prefer to discuss cultivation-related matters in the privacy of my room. After eating, my daughter and I entered my room and closed the door.

She said: “Dad, I dreamed I went to a Buddha’s paradise!”

I asked: “What?! A Buddha’s paradise?!”She replied: “Yes, just like in Master’s poem 'Falun World,' everything gave off a golden glow so bright that it dazzled my eyes.”

I recited a line from Master’s poem: “Its every hue and color, so glorious, dazzle the eye … ” (“Falun World,” Hong Yin)

She said yes, and I asked, “How did you enter?”She answered: “At first, I was in an empty, white, three-dimensional world. Suddenly, I entered a paradise of gold. Every object there was made of gold, the ground, trees and even the leaves. I thought, ‘Isn’t this the Buddha’s paradise that Master had described? Then where is the phoenix?’ With this thought a golden phoenix immediately flew past me, followed by several small golden birds.”

Being amazed, I instantly reached for my notebook and started taking notes while my daughter continued narrating her experience.

“I started wandering around and came across a large monastery gate,” she said. “I wondered, ‘What’s inside? Should I go in? Would it be impolite?’ I hesitated for a long while, walking around the gate before circling back.”

I asked her if she had finally decided to enter. She said, “Yes. I was curious, so I mustered up my courage and knocked on the door. The door swung open, and I was startled to see a very tall person before me. He looked like a Vajra described in the book Journey to the West, with his gold armor and lotus-shaped crown topped with a pearl. He had a thick beard and looked very imposing. He gestured for me to come in, so I entered.”

I asked, “Could you see clearly?” She answered, “Yes, I could see as clearly as I normally would while awake. It wasn’t a normal dream. I really went to that heavenly paradise and experienced everything with my five senses. Taste, smell, and touch, everything felt exactly the same.”

“You were able to taste something? How did this come about?” I asked.“I’ll explain later. I saw three Vajras standing on each side of the door, making up a total of seven. I continued walking inside and saw many Arhats,” she said.

“Can you describe further?” I asked.“Sure. The first Arhat was sitting completely still, cross-legged on a lotus platform with his eyes closed and two palms pressed together. He had a high, protuberant forehead like the God of Longevity,” she said.

“Were they all sitting in meditation?” I asked.“No, they were in different poses. Some had one hand raised in prayer. Others were standing on one leg with the other bent to rest on the knee of the first leg. Others held musical instruments,” she answered.

“Were there Arhats on both sides?” I asked.“No, I saw Arhats on my left and monks to my right, all in various poses,” she answered.

“What else did you see?” I asked.“I saw three Bodhisattvas,” she said. “The first one looked a lot like Bodhisattva Guanyin. An exquisite-looking hat was on her head, and a pink veil covered her face. Under her light, gauzy green dress was a pink dress with lotus patterns. With a shining halo behind her head, she looked very beautiful. Her thumb and middle fingers were joined in the hand gesture used in traditional dances.”

“That must be a small mudra,” I said.“Oh, then I tried to look for the Bodhisattva’s lotus platform, only to realize she didn’t have one. She was barefoot,” she said.

“You’re very observant! What about the next Bodhisattva?” I asked.“The next Bodhisattva was wearing an orange dress and standing on a lotus platform,” she said. “I noticed she had a large gold earring on her left ear and wondered, ‘Do Bodhisattvas have to get their ears pierced too?’ The Bodhisattva instantly knew my thoughts and spoke to me, ‘I’ll take it off so you can see.’ Her voice was so kind. She took off the earring and gave it to me. I received her earring with both hands and saw a gap in the middle, which allowed it to be clipped onto the Bodhisattva’s ear. After examining it, I returned the earring to the Bodhisattva. It immediately flew from my hand onto her ear. The third Bodhisattva looked older, like a middle-aged woman. She wore her hair shorter than the previous two, just to her shoulders.”

“How old were the previous two Bodhisattvas?” I asked.“Uh, about the age of college students, very young,” she answered.

“So the third Bodhisattva looked a bit older, right?” I asked.“Yes. This Bodhisattva also wore an earring,” she answered. “I wondered, ‘Did that earring also have a gap?’ Instantly, the Bodhisattva’s earring flew into my hand. It said to me somewhat anxiously, ‘Hey, look at me, look at me, I’m a whole solid piece!’ It spoke haltingly due to anxiety, while I stood startled that this earring could actually talk! I glanced at the Bodhisattva’s ear and was startled to see there was no hole in her ear. How strange! How did her earring stay on?”

“Hahaha, that’s interesting, but your focus is so weird,” I said. “What happened next?”

“An invisible force gently pushed me from behind, so I continued walking forward,” she said. “I had barely left the Bodhisattvas when a huge lotus platform suddenly appeared before me. I wondered, ‘Could this be Shakyamuni?’ I looked up, but the Buddha was so tall I only saw shimmering gold. To see clearly, I had to move further away. I ran to the mountain gate but still couldn’t see the Buddha. I thought, ‘I can’t even see the Buddha. Have I come all this way for nothing?’ As soon as that thought crossed my mind, the Buddha appeared before me. Wow! The Buddha’s hair was indeed blue and curly, just as Master described. Moreover, it sparkled like a sapphire, presenting varying hues of blue with every change in angle. Although the Buddha’s round face looked familiar, I just couldn’t remember who he was.”

“Could it be Master?” I asked. At that point, I realized my daughter had never closely scrutinized Master’s portrait. I resolved to let her take a closer look that night.

My daughter scratched her head before replying, “Perhaps, but I’m not sure. The Buddha was so bright I could barely open my eyes.”

“I really envy you!” I said. I patted my daughter’s head in admiration. Despite cultivating for some time, I had never experienced such extraordinary scenes as she had.

Buddha Subdues Demons

Seeing I was deep in thought, my daughter spoke up, “Now comes the main event, Dad. After seeing the Buddha, I suddenly felt very tired and sleepy. The Buddha suddenly spoke in an incredibly compassionate voice, ‘Lie down and sleep.’ I listened and lay down. Unexpectedly, the floor tiles were very soft, as though I was sleeping on cotton. After a while, an invisible force shook my body, tossing me around and preventing me from falling asleep. Dad, did you shake me this morning?”

“Yes, I tried to wake you to study the teachings,” I said. “I shook you a few times, but you didn’t rouse at all.”

“No wonder! I felt unwell and thought a demon was interfering with me, so I tried to send forth righteous thoughts,” she said.

“Likely that was me. What did you do next?” I asked.“Don’t the Buddhas depicted in Hong Yin all have halos behind them? I wanted to see if this Buddha had a halo, so I walked around the lotus platform to the back. Wow, it was exactly like the one drawn in the book! There was a halo behind the Buddha’s head, and a larger halo around the Buddha’s body. Both emitted a bright light. It was so beautiful!” she said.

“Such curiosity,” I said.“How could I not be curious when exploring this sacred paradise? But a frightening situation soon followed,” she said.

“What happened?” I asked.“I was behind the Buddha when I was struck by the desire to touch the lotus petals on the lotus platform. I touched them, and wow, the petals felt so soft! Like touching water, they were so soft and nice to touch. I kept feeling them with both hands.

“I was happily touching the petals when I felt someone pulling on me. Annoyed, I turned around and was horrified to see a demon! Purple in color, with huge ears, sharp teeth, and blood in its mouth; the demon looked so scary, my heart still races when I think about it.”

“What happened afterward?” I asked.“I heard it say, ‘Why are you so close to him? Why are you here? Why have you ruined our plans?'" she said.

I was so startled that I almost dropped my pen. I asked my daughter, “Did it really say that?”“Those were its exact words,” she said.

“Your practice of Falun Gong and visit to the paradise disrupted their plans,” I said. “These demons are evil! They prevent people from taking up Falun Dafa and spread bad rumors about Dafa.”

“I asked Master for help and started sending forth righteous thoughts,” she said. “The demon became even angrier and refused to let go of me. At this juncture, I saw the Buddha and cried out, ‘Buddha, save me!’ I instantly flew onto the Buddha’s hand, but the demon still held onto me. It said, ‘You bad person, you ruined our plans! I’m going to take you away and get rid of you!’ I was furious. The demon actually accused me of being a bad person?!

“The Buddha had his right palm upright and left hand supporting the right. Without even glancing at the demon, the Buddha flicked it away with the finger of his upright hand. The demon flew away and landed on the floor tiles with a loud bang. The floor tiles were supposed to be soft, so I wondered why the impact sounded like the demon had landed on steel plates.”

“Buddha has the ability to change them, right?” I asked.“Yes. Then the Bodhisattva who looked like Guanyin suddenly produced a white porcelain vase with willow branches stuck in it. She turned the vase upside down, releasing a jet of water that instantly engulfed the demon,” she said.

“That must be Bodhisattva Guanyin. She even took out her jade vase.” I said.“Yes. The Buddha put me down,” she said. “Seconds later, I saw the Bodhisattva pour a stream of purple water from her vase. The water vanished as soon as it came out.”

Sweetness of Heavenly Nectar

I rotated my wrists and said to my daughter, “Speak slower, I can’t keep up.”“Okay, I’ll slow down,” she said.

“Let’s continue. Try to focus on the important parts.” I said,“Okay, this is definitely important. Familiarity breeds courage. So after the Buddha subdued the demon, I started playing around,” she said.

“How did you play around?” I asked.“Haha, like Sun Wukong when he first entered Heaven, I climbed all over the place. One moment on a Vajra, the next on the Arhats or Bodhisattvas,” she said.

As my daughter spoke, she demonstrated by climbing on me, hugging my leg, then snuggling under my arm the next moment. I shook my head, “You’re so naughty. Weren’t they angry with you?”

“No. I climbed and ran around them,” she said. “Although my feet went through the motions of running, they never touched the ground, floating with my movements. After a while, I felt slightly thirsty and wished I had some water. In an instant, I tripped over something, but did not fall because I was floating. I looked back and saw a teacup with some water inside.”

“Your wish came true,” I said.“Of course, this is a paradise,” she said. “I picked up the teacup and drank its contents. Wow, the liquid was so fragrant, sweet, and delicious! Dad, you absolutely won’t be able to replicate this taste on earth. No other beverage comes close.”

At this point, my daughter excitedly exclaimed, “No wonder my saliva tasted so sweet! It’s the aftertaste of this nectar. Hehe!” My daughter smacked her lips with her eyes closed, looking quite comical.

I was amazed and asked, “Can you still taste it?”My daughter replied, “Hehe, yes! My saliva tastes sweet.” She covered her mouth and laughed with a pleased expression, “No wonder that boiled egg tasted so strange this morning.”

As I silently marveled over this miracle, my daughter continued, “After I finished drinking the cup of nectar, I heard the Buddha say, ‘Child, you are blessed.’ The surrounding gods began smiling.”

“Wow, you’re truly blessed! You’ve already witnessed such magnificent scenes and even drunk nectar from Buddha’s realm after taking up Falun Gong for only a few months. Who would believe this story?” I asked.“You don’t believe me, Dad?” she asked.“Of course I believe you,” I said.“That’s good enough for me,” she said.

“So what happened next?” I asked.“I started playing again,” she said. “Then I saw the Buddha performing a hand gesture and I intuitively knew he was about to impart his teachings to me. Buddha spoke to me in plain language. Roughly what he said was, during the Dharma-ending period, an enlightened being will transmit the Dharma to the mortal realm. Those with affinity who receive the Dharma and cultivate well will reach enlightenment and return to their own world. After he finished speaking, I found myself back in that vast, empty white world. Then I woke up.”

It took a while for me to recover my composure.

Exorcising a Demon in the Demon Realm

The next day, after finishing my exercises, I went to wake my elder daughter. I shook her, but she did not rouse. Thinking she was having another dream, I let her sleep.

My daughter entered my room at around 8 a.m., saying, “Dad, I had another dream.”“What was it this time?” I asked.“This time I was exorcising a demon,” she said.

No longer as stunned, I took out my notebook and said, “Go ahead and tell me, I’ll write it all down.”

“I was sending forth righteous thoughts last night before bed and fell asleep midway,” she said. “In my dream, I saw a space filled with black mist. A demon, identical in looks to the one the Buddha had eliminated yesterday, stood in the space with its hands on its hips, glaring at me. I continued sending forth righteous thoughts. After a while, I looked up and became slightly angry when I saw it hadn’t been eliminated.”

“Next time don’t be so impatient,” I said. “If you try to send forth righteous thoughts without righteous intent, there will be no effect.”“Ah, I was so impatient. I went up and started hitting it,” she said. “I kept hitting the demon, so it could only defend itself with its arms crossed. Suddenly, I heard its inner monologue, ‘This little girl looks so weak, how come she’s so difficult to deal with? Should I continue to avenge it? That’s it! I can kick her, knock her down, then hand her over to the higher-ups.’ Even demons are split into higher and lower classes? I found it funny.”

“Perhaps it was referring to a more powerful demon,” I said. “When the demon said it wanted ‘to avenge it,’ was it referring to the demon that the Buddha eliminated yesterday?”

“I believe so,” she said. “The demon then prepared to kick me, but I struck first and kicked. The demon fell down with a cry, and I immediately climbed on top and beat it up. When it started convulsing, I believed it was near death and stopped beating it.”

Amused, I remarked, “Did you have to be so violent? If you encounter such situations again, I hope you’ll try to maintain your righteous thoughts. Remember, your mind must remain calm and your thoughts pure.”“Okay, I understand, Dad,” she said.

Entering the Buddha’s Paradise Again

“After defeating the demon, where did you go? Did you see other demons?” I asked.“I didn’t see any other demons,” she said. “Afterward, I found myself back at the border between the Buddha and demon realms. I crossed the barrier and headed inside.”

“Where did you end up at? Did you arrive at the Buddha’s paradise?” I asked.“Yes. After entering the barrier, I found myself back at the same Buddha’s paradise,” she said. “Only this time, I saw a giant Buddha before me. The more I looked at his face, the more familiar he looked. I wondered if it was Master.”

“Aren’t you sure?” I asked.“In my dream, his features looked similar, though I can’t say for sure,” she said. “The Buddha was teaching in classical Chinese, using a variety of archaic phrases and expressions which I couldn’t understand at all. At this point, I realized why you insisted I learn the book ‘Classical Chinese Primer for Children.’ If I had been more studious, maybe I would have understood the Buddha’s sermon.”

I thought to myself, “That’s not necessarily true. Perhaps it was deliberately done to prevent you from understanding.”

My daughter continued, “Although I could not understand the Buddha’s sermon, I could still play there. After all, playing is my current priority in life.”

“You play too much!” I said.“Haha! I played till I got thirsty and thought, ‘Is it true that in the Buddha realm, whatever you wish for will come true? Last time I drank nectar, what drink will appear before me this time?’ With this thought, a cup of water appeared before me. Wow, it was so magical!” she said.

“Was the cup filled with nectar?” I asked.“No, just ordinary water. It seems nectar isn’t obtained so easily,” she said.

“Don’t be greedy! By the way, is your saliva still sweet?” I asked.“Yes, it’s still sweet,” she said.

“Unbelievable! What happened next?” I asked.“After drinking the water, I discovered a room filled with all my favorite toys—dolls, drawing materials, handicraft toys, and so on,” she said. “I can’t obtain these toys in real life, so I thought I should play to my heart’s content in this dream!”(In real life, my daughter has to achieve a set academic target before we buy the toy she wants, which is why she commented that they were hard to get).

“You got off easy this time,” I said.“Then I wondered, could this be some kind of test? How can one obtain such good things easily. Should I play or not? Just then, I heard Master speaking in the same voice I had heard in recorded lectures, ‘This is for you to enjoy. There’s no test here.’ I turned around and saw Master standing right behind me,” she said.

“Did you say anything to Master? Greet him or something?” I asked.“I was stunned. Master disappeared before I could speak,” she said.

“Remember to respectfully greet Master next time,” I said.“OK. Oh, now I’m sure the Buddha I saw is Master. No wonder everything felt so familiar, I visited the Falun paradise,” she said.

“Of course, Dafa practitioners will enter the Falun paradise,” I said.“I thought I had visited the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss in my earlier dream. Afterward, I started doing crafts and drawing. I had a lot of fun,” she said.

“And then?” I asked.“Then I woke up,” she answered.

Postscript

To ensure the accuracy of this article, I had my daughter read it immediately after I finished writing, revising parts that did not match her dreams in order to present a complete and truthful account of her experience in the Falun paradise.

I also want to tell readers that Falun Dafa is an upright, true cultivation method widely acknowledged throughout the world. Do not let the Chinese Communist Party’s lies and atheistic teachings obstruct your path to receiving this precious practice to enlightenment.
