(Minghui.org) I’m 83 years old, and I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1999. In 2005, I helped my youngest daughter, who lived in a residential community in the provincial capital, take care of her child. I seldom read the Fa, and I didn’t know any other practitioners in the area. I couldn’t get Minghui Weekly, and I couldn’t go out to clarify the truth about the persecution of people. I felt very anxious.
Encouragement From Master
One night I dreamed Master drove a car toward me. He smiled and said, “Quick, get in!” The car traveled across a large lake, and we soon reached the shore. The shore was very steep, rising straight up to about the height of a 30-story building.
Master drove the car up toward the shore. When we were about 10 feet from the top, he stopped, pointed upward, and told me to climb the rest of the way. I began climbing, but just as I was about to reach the top, I lost my strength and fell back down. I tried several times, but I couldn’t make it. I thought, it doesn’t matter if I fall, as long as I don’t bump into Master. Master knows our thoughts. I saw Master stretch out a large hand, grab the top of the shore, and with a smile, said, “Now you go up!” At that moment, I woke up with tears in my eyes.
Even after I woke up, I still wanted to cry. Master has given so much to us practitioners. I thought, no matter how difficult it is, I must keep moving upward and not fall back down. I looked inward: I seldom studied the Fa. I was too attached to family affection, I hadn’t done the three things well, and I was becoming like an ordinary person. I hadn’t put Dafa first, and I took ordinary matters too seriously. I resolved to eliminate my attachments, do the three things well, keep up with the progress of Fa-rectification, walk every step well, and be a true Dafa cultivator.
Eliminating Evil With Righteous Thoughts
In 2013, I took my grandson to kindergarten. Soon, all the children arrived. The teacher had them line up and go to the playground to sing and raise the national flag. Many parents stayed and watched from outside the fence, and I went along as well.
The children stood in neat rows and saluted. The teacher started the music for the flag-raising ceremony. The first line of the song praised Mao Zedong, a former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader. I immediately sent forth a strong thought: “Stop singing.” At once, the machine that was raising the flag stopped, and so did the music. The teachers were confused—what happened? It had been working just fine—why did it suddenly stop? They tried adjusting the machine in various ways, but it wouldn’t play, and the flag was not raised.
The principal became angry, scolded the teachers, and left.
I thought, “The power of righteous thoughts is truly great!” When righteous thoughts are strong, Master allows one to manifest abilities to eliminate the evil and prevent it from harming people.
Only By Knowing the Truth Can People Be Saved
My son lives in a residential area across the street from a hospital. One day, as I walked out of the community gate, I saw a woman sitting on the steps outside the hospital. I quickly walked over and greeted her: “Aren’t you cold sitting here?” It was March, so it was still quite cold in the north. She waved her hand and said, “Don’t talk to me.” When I got closer, I was startled. Her face was waxy yellow, and her body trembled.
I said, “Tell me what’s going on and I’ll see if I can help you.” Weakly, she said, “I went upstairs to visit a patient. When I came out of the room, I happened to run into two doctors pushing a dead body, walking straight toward me. When I saw the corpse, I felt extremely uncomfortable and frightened. I stumbled over here. I feel terrible, dizzy, and I can’t go home. It feels like I’m about to die.” As she spoke, tears streamed down her face.
I quickly said, “Don’t be afraid. Quickly recite ‘Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ Recite it sincerely, and you’ll feel better right away—it’s very effective. If you can’t make it home, don’t worry, I can take you.” She believed me and began reciting with her eyes closed. In less than five minutes, she opened her eyes again. Her composure returned, her face regained color, and she said happily, “I’m fine now! I don’t feel uncomfortable anymore. Look, my body stopped trembling!” She stood up and said, “Thank you. I’m going home now. From now on, I will often recite ‘Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’”
I said, “Have you heard of the Three Withdrawals (withdrawing from the CCP, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers) to stay safe?” She said, “Never.” I said, “You see how corrupt the CCP officials are—they take bribes and exploit people. Since it came to power, the CCP has caused the deaths of over 80 million Chinese citizens. Its crimes are beyond escape. Heaven will eliminate it. If you joined the CCP or its affiliated organizations, you should quickly withdraw. The CCP has done so many bad things—when the divine holds it accountable, do not be implicated.” She said, “I joined the Youth League and wore the red scarf. Please help me withdraw. The CCP is the worst. By the way, my husband is a CCP member. Can you help him withdraw, too?” I said, “Yes. Just tell him when you go back, as long as he agrees.” She said, “He will definitely agree.”
She told me, “My husband sells vegetables. One morning, before he had even started selling anything, the city management officers demanded money from him. He said, ‘I haven’t made any money yet—wait until I have some.’ They refused, and they took his scales. He went to get them back, but instead, he was detained for three days. What kind of society is this? There’s no justice. After he came home, he cursed the CCP like crazy, took out the CCP constitution, smashed it with a hammer, and threw it in the toilet. If you help him withdraw, he’ll be happy.” I said, “Alright. Then you and your husband can each use an alias and withdraw from whichever CCP organizations you joined. Would that be okay?” She nodded in agreement.
She happily said, “I’m going home now.” After taking a few steps, she came back and said, “Today I met a good person. Thank you so much! If fate allows it, we’ll meet again.” I watched her walk away. Many patients from the hospital were outside sitting on benches or taking a walk. I went on to help four or five more people withdraw from the CCP, and everything went smoothly.
From now on, I will take every step of cultivation well, do the three things well, keep up with the Fa-rectification process, and go home with Master.
