(Minghui.org) Ever since Master Li Hongzhi first introduced Falun Dafa to the public in 1992, many practitioners have been studying the teachings together in groups on a regular basis, even after the Chinese Communist Party launched a nationwide campaign of persecution against Falun Dafa in July 1999.
These Fa-study groups have helped strengthen practitioners’ faith in Falun Dafa and enabled them to persevere despite the ongoing persecution. In honor of World Falun Dafa Day (May 13), many sent in their heartfelt greetings to celebrate the special occasion. Because Master Li’s birthday also falls on the same day, they also wish him a Happy Birthday and thank him for guiding them in their cultivation.
A Fa-study group in the Shijingshan District of Beijing shared a story of how they help each other in the face of tribulations. One of them, an elderly woman, suddenly felt dizzy and lost strength in her legs. Encouraged by the rest of the group, she kept studying the Falun Dafa teachings and was able to walk again in a few days. Several days after that, she was strong enough to go out and raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Dafa again.
Practitioners in their 70s and 80s make up a Fa-study group in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. They all started to practice Falun Dafa in 1997 and have been studying the teachings together over the past 29 years.
A six-person Fa-study group in Changchun City, Jilin Province, wrote that, even though they are all over 60 (and the oldest is in their 80s), they work hard to spread the goodness of Falun Dafa every day.
Among the well wishers in this report, the smallest Fa-study group is a two-person group in Nanchang City, Jiangsu Province, and the biggest is over 100 practitioners in the rural areas in Zhoukou City, Henan Province. Three veterans in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, wrote that they often study Falun Dafa teachings together.
