(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners celebrated World Falun Dafa Day at Preston Meadows Park in the City of Plano, Texas. Mayor Tim Stinneford of the City of Euless and Mayor Richard H. Stopfer of the City of Irving sent greeting letters to mark the occasion.

Mayor Tim Stinneford wrote; “As the Mayor of the City of Euless, Texas, I am pleased to acknowledge the 34th anniversary of World Falun Dafa Day, which will be celebrated on May 9, 2026. The freedom to practice one’s religion is a cornerstone of the American experience, and in a diverse community such as Euless, we are proud to embrace and uphold this fundamental value.
“I commend your efforts in celebrating Falun Dafa Day and in promoting its core principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. I trust that the events you have planned will be meaningful and successful in fostering a deeper understanding of these teachings.
“Protecting human rights is a cause that unites us all, and I hope that this observance serves as a reminder of the importance of such efforts.”
