1. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Dai Yanwen Detained
Ms. Dai Yanwen was arrested at home on May 9, 2026, by officers from the Liuhao Police Station. The officers ransacked her place and seized her Falun Gong books.
2. [Beijing] Ms. Sun Yanfang Arrested
Ms. Sun Yanfang was arrested at home on May 7, 2026. All of her Falun Gong books were confiscated. An officer showed her a screenshot of her being recorded by a surveillance camera while distributing Falun Gong printouts, and questioned her about where she got the materials. She said she printed them herself.
3. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Tao Mingzhen Arrested
Ms. Tao Mingzhen, 68, was arrested in the Nanyang Street Market on May 9, 2026.
4. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Feng Aixiang Detained, Ms. Chen Hengzhong and Ms. Chen Yurong Harassed
Ms. Feng Aixiang was arrested at home on April 8, 2026, by officers from the Gaoliu Town Police Station. They showed neither police IDs nor arrest or search warrants. She was forced to undergo a physical exam at the Qingzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and then taken to a detention center for seven days.
On April 30, 2026, three plainclothes officers harassed Mr. Chen Hengzhong and his wife, Ms. Chen Yurong took pictures of them against their will.
5. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Duan Taoyuan and Wang Zhexing Detained
Duan Taoyuan, gender unknown, was detained for 15 days and released on May 8, 2026.
Wang Zhexing, gender unknown, a practitioner’s family member, was detained for 15 days and released on May 9, 2026.
6. [Tianjin] Mr. Li Yuxiang’s Second Hearing Scheduled
Mr. Li Yuxiang’s second hearing by the Wuqing District Court was scheduled forMay 12, 2026.
7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Tao Lei and Ms. Guo Lizhen Held in Brainwashing Center After Detention
Mr. Tao Lei and his wife, Ms. Guo Lizhen, were among the 16 practitioners arrested on April 15, 2026, by the Changjiang New District Police Department officers. They were detained for 15 days and then taken to a brainwashing center.
8. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Ji Yongqiang Held in Brainwashing Center
Mr. Ji Yongqiang was arrested at work on April 9, 2026, by Yaoxu Town 610 Office director Song, local police, and Anlezhang Village secretary. He was takento the Mengyin County brainwashing center for four days.
9. [Shanghai] Zhou Ling and Chen Jie Under Surveillance
Zhou Ling, gender unknown, and Chen Jie, gender unknown, are monitored by the Hudong Police Station officers and their sub-district clerks.
10. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yin Shouquan Detained
Mr. Yin Shouquan was arrested in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, on April 20, 2026, by officers from Daqing City’s Songbei District Police Department. He was detained for 15 days.
