(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Italy’s Veneto region held an event in Vicenza on May 23, 2026, to introduce Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa). Practitioners set up an information booth near Vicenza’s city center. They displayed banners and distributed information about Falun Dafa and origami lotus flowers. Many people said they were shocked to learn about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution as well as its state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting.
Vicenza is the capital of Vicenza Province in the Veneto region in northeastern Italy. Vicenza is approximately 60 kilometers (37 miles) west of Venice. The city is rich in history and culture and features museums, art galleries, churches, and piazzas, as well as Renaissance-style buildings.
When a woman said she did not know where to find hope in this world, a practitioner told her about Falun Dafa and its guiding principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and how many people benefited from the practice and rediscovered hope. This woman took the informational materials and said she would definitely read them.
A young Chinese man said his knowledge of Falun Gong came from the Chinese Communist Party propaganda. His conversation with a practitioner at the event cleared up his misunderstandings, and he said he would learn more about Falun Gong.

Practitioners told people about Falun Dafa and the CCP’s ongoing persecution and forced organ harvesting. After learning about the brutality, many people signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution and also happily accepted lotus flowers.
Some people said they were attracted by the music and exercise demonstration and they were interested in learning more about Falun Dafa.

After a young Chinese man talked with practitioners, he said it cleared up his prior misunderstanding of Falun Gong due to the CCP’s disinformation campaigns. He accepted a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and a copy of Minghui International. He said he was interested in learning more about Falun Dafa.
