(Minghui.org) I am in my 80s, and feel healthy and energetic. My relatives, friends, and acquaintances all envy me for having a happy and harmonious family.
Our family lives comfortably and we get along well. My wife is also in her 80s, and has been practicing Falun Dafa for nearly 30 years. She remains in good health, with sharp hearing and clear vision. My son and daughter are outstanding in their generation. My son is a senior executive, and a deputy division-level official, while my daughter is a certified public accountant. They each have their own warm and loving families. Everyone sincerely marvels, “How can you be so blessed?”
Just as trees have roots and water has a source, the source of my happiness comes from Falun Dafa and Master. To celebrate May 13, World Falun Dafa Day, I humbly dedicate this article to express my boundless gratitude to the Fa and to Master.
Thank You, Master, for Saving My Life
Despite my age, I can easily ride a bicycle for 50 or 60 miles. So it’s hard to imagine that over a decade ago, I suffered from a severe stroke, and could barely walk or even hold chopsticks. Taking medicine and getting injections didn’t help at all. Back then, I was desperate to feel better.
My wife told me, “If you sincerely recite ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ miracles will happen, and Master will save you.” I believed her and recited this constantly, day after day. I even added one more phrase, “Master Li is good!” Gradually my health improved day by day, my feet stopped dragging and I was able to walk normally, and I could eat with chopsticks. I am truly grateful to Master Li for saving my life!
I stand in front of Master’s portrait every day with my hands pressed together, and sincerely recite the phrases, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Master Li is good!” Twice I saw Master’s portrait radiating a brilliant light!
Supporting My Wife In Saving Lives
As the ancients said, “When receiving the grace of a drop of water, one should repay it with a surging spring.” How much more so for a life-saving favor? How can I repay Master’s kindness? I can’t just pay lip service to Falun Dafa and do nothing. So I support my wife, a Falun Dafa practitioner.
We have been married for over 50 years, she has always carefully managed our household, and never wasted a penny. Despite her age, she learned how to access Minghui.org, download and print truth-clarifying materials, and create informational leaflets to spread the facts. This required some financial investment for equipment and supplies. I fully support her and never hesitate to provide what she needs.
My wife often prints The Story of the Amulet, several thousands copies a year. I help her with folding the printouts. Sometimes the printer breaks down, and I help transport it, so it can be repaired. One winter, after heavy snow, my wife had to travel over 40 miles to deliver materials. The roads were slippery, and the packages were heavy. I was a bit worried, so I decided to escort her to her destination.
I do all the household chores, such as laundry and cleaning, so that my wife has more time to help Master save lives. I do this as an honor. However, no matter how much we have done or how much we have given, it still seems far too little.
I have read Master’s articles several times, including “How Humankind Came to Be,” “Why the Creator Seeks to Save All Life,” and “Why This World Is a Realm of Unknowing.” I believe everything we have comes from the Fa—it is Dafa and Master who have bestowed it upon us. Master Li is our true savior!
As the proverb goes, “A waterfront pavillion gets the moonlight first.” I have read all the materials my wife printed out, even though it is aimed at elementary- and middle-school students. I have listened to nearly every one of the over 100 episodes of the Minghui Radio program “Remembering Master’s Kindness.” The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party documents all the facts. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has committed so many evils deeds, and killed over 80 million innocent people. How couldn’t it be destroyed?
As the saying goes, a drum won’t sound unless it’s struck, and truth won’t be revealed unless it’s debated. Those who slander and defame Falun Gong have been deceived by the CCP’s propaganda, and misled by its lies and smear campaigns.
Withdrawing From the Party Ensures Safety
Our entire family withdrew from the CCP and its associated organizations in the first half of 2005. Whenever relatives or friends visited us, my wife never missed the opportunity to persuade them to quit those organizations. I always help her. When the Covid pandemic (Wuhan pneumonia) broke in late 2019, although some of our relatives and friends were infected, not a single one died. They were all saved because they had withdrawn from the CCP.
I will never forget the kindness of our great Master, and no words can fully express my gratitude. I want to shout out to the whole world: Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Thank you, Master Li!
I sincerely wish Master a happy birthday, and look forward to Master’s honorable return to his homeland as soon as possible.
