1. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xue’e Tried
2. [Tianjin] Practitioner Wang Guijiang Arrested
3. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Lanping Arrested
4. [Xinmin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Kong Gang’s Trail Postponed
5. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
6. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Face Trial
1. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xue’e Tried
Ms. Li Xue’e, in her 80s, was tried by the Fushan District Court on May 7, 2026. No verdict was announced.
2. [Tianjin] Practitioner Wang Guijiang Arrested
Practitioner Wang Guijiang was followed by the police and arrested at the end of April 2026. Wang’s home was ransacked.
3. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Lanping Arrested
Ms. Li Lanping was arrested by officers from Shouguang City Political Security Division and Jianqiao Police Station on April 7, 2026. The officers confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and media players. Ms. Li and her husband were interrogated at the police station. Ms. Li refused to sign the transcript, but her husband was forced to do so. The police also photographed Ms. Li and collected her fingerprints and blood sample against her will. The couple were released that same day.
4. [Xinmin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Kong Gang’s Trial Postponed
The Xinmin City Court postponed Ms. Kong Gang’s hearing, which was scheduled for May 8, 2026.
5. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Practitioner Su Yan and another practitioner were arrested by Zhonghanzhuang Town Police Station officers on April 29, 2026, when they were distributing Falun Gong materials and talking to people about Falun Gong at a farmers market. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated their Falun Gong books. Su was released later that day. The other practitioner was detained for five days and released on May 5.
6. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Face Trial
Mr. Pu Xianhu, his wife, Ms. Luo Xiuping, Mr. Liu Yufeng, Ms. Zhang Xiucui, and Ms. Shan Cuimei, were scheduled to stand trial at the Zichuan District Court on May 10, 2026.
