(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 20 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

11. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Ying’s Case Returned by the Procuratorate
1. [Boye County, Hebei Province] Practitioners Fan Huimin and Wu Baoying Arrested
Practitioners Fan Huimin and Wu Baoying were arrested on May 7, 2026, while talking to people about Falun Gong.They are currently held at the Anguo City Lockup.
2. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Wu Qingzhi Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Wu Qingzhi, 89, was reported by surveillance cameras in 2025 while distributing Falun Gong materials. She was sentenced to one year in prison in December 2025. She is currently serving time at Yang’ai Prison.
3. [Cao County, Shandong Province] One Practitioner Sentenced to Prison and Two Practitioners Detained
Ms. Zhu Wenlan was arrested in early October 2025. She was sentenced to three years and has been admitted to the Shandong Province Women’s Prison to serve time.
Mr. Liu Zhenlin and his brother, Mr. Liu Zhenqian, were arrested on October 4, 2025. Mr. Liu Zhenqian was soon released on bail due to his high blood pressure. Mr. Liu Zhenlin has been held at the Cao County Detention Center since.
Mr. Yu Zhilang, 85, was arrested at home around 6 a.m. on February 3, 2026, by officers from the Cao County Domestic Security Division. They confiscated 16,000 yuan in cash from him. He has also been detained at the Cao County Detention Center since.
4. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Practitioner Dai was arrested on May 9.
The three Ma sisters were arrested by Xing’an Road Police Station officers while distributing Falun Gong materials on May 10, 2026. A large number of their personal belongings were confiscated. One of them was released that evening.
5. [Yangquan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Han Xinhong Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Han Xinhong was arrested on April 18, 2026. She has been taken to a brainwashing center.
6. [Gaotang County, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Aixia Released
Ms. Xu Aixia was arrested at home by Gaotang County Police Department officers on April 28, 2026. Her home was ransacked. She was released on May 7.
7. [Jize County, Hebei Province] Ms. An Lijing Harassed
Guo Zhenjiang, head of Jize County Domestic Security Division, led a group of people to Ms. An Lijing’s home at 7 a.m. on April 1, 2026. They broke in by scaling over the fence with a ladder. They ransacked the place and took away Ms. An’s ID card and driver’s license.
Ms. An wasn’t home. The police told her husband that she was suspected ofdistributing Falun Gong informational materials. They ordered her to report to them when she returned.
8. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Zheng Lihui Faces Indictment
Ms. Zheng Lihui was arrested by officers from Songshan District Domestic Security Division at work on April 17, 2026. Her case has been submitted to the Songshan District Procuratorate.
9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Jianchun Formally Arrested
Ms. Li Jianchun was arrested on April 24, 2026, at her daughter’s home in Hefei City, Anhui Province, by officers from the Binhu Police Station in Hefei City. She is being held at Hefei City Women’s Detention Center and has been issued a formal arrest warrant.
10. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Xiao Yujun and His Wife Ms.Zhang Aimei Face Trial
Mr. Xiao Yujun and his wife, Ms. Zhang Aimei, were arrested on July 22, 2025. They were tried by the Yinan County Court on January 13, 2026. The two defense lawyers entered not guilty plea for them. Mr. Xiao also testified in his own defense. Their second hearing was scheduled for May 13, 2026.
11. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Ying’s Case Returned by the Procuratorate
Ms. Li Ying was arrested by Tongji Police Station officers on April 11, 2026. She is held at Pudong Detention Center and was issued a formal arrest warrant on April 24, 2026. The Jimo District Procuratorate recently returned her case to the police, citing insufficient evidence.
