(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 19 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gu Hongying’s Hearing Scheduled
2. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Guanghua’s Hearing Scheduled
3. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wu Qiaoyun Sentenced
4. [Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Sheng Zhongliang Sentenced
5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Seven Arrested, Four of Them Still Detained
6. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Qingyun and Her Husband Mr. Li Yaguang Arrested
7. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Ruixia Harassed
8. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Haixia and Ms. Han Niya Arrested
9. [Hanchuan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Shu Yunlan Released After Completing Prison Term
10. [Miyi County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tian Wanzhen and Mr. Xiong Xuecai Harassed
1. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gu Hongying’s Hearing Scheduled
Ms. Gu Hongying’s hearing was scheduled for June 17, 2026 by the Dongchangfu District Court.
2. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Guanghua’s Hearing Scheduled
Ms. Liu Guanghua was arrested on December 17, 2025. She has been held at the Benxi City Detention Center since. She was indicted by the Mingshan District Procuratorate and is scheduled to stand trial at the Mingshan District Court on June 17, 2026.
3. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wu Qiaoyun Sentenced
Mr. Wu Qiaoyun, in her 70s, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison recently.
4. [Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Sheng Zhongliang Sentenced
Mr. Sheng Zhongliang was sentenced to three years and six months in prison in early 2026. He is serving time at a prison in Hangzhou City. This is the second time he has been sentenced for practicing Falun Gong.
5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Seven Arrested, Four of Them Still Detained
Ms. Zhang Xiujuan, Ms. Zhang Shufen, Mr. Miao Yongli, Mr. Ma Yingjie, Ms. Wu Caixia, Ms. Lyu Xiuying, and Ms. Wang Shufang were arrested on June 9, 2026. The first four are being held in the Tangshan City First Detention Center. The latter three have been released.
6. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Qingyun and Her Husband Mr. Li Yaguang Arrested
Ms. Li Qingyun, 69, and her husband, Mr. Li Yaguang, in his 70s, were arrested at home on June 12, 2026. The police ransacked their home and confiscated their Falun Gong books. They were released later that day.
7. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Ruixia Harassed
Ms. Wang Ruixia was harassed at home on June 12, 2026, by Yan Zhen and other officers from the Banyang Police Station. They took away a picture of the founder of Falun Gong and a Falun Gong exercise music player.
8. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Haixia and Ms. Han Niya Arrested
Ms. Han Haixia and Ms. Han Niya were arrested on June 8, 2026, by officers from the Jiaolai Police Station, after someone reported them for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.
That night, the police pried open Ms. Han Niya’s home door, ransacked the place, and confiscated lots of her personal items. Ms. Han was admitted to the Qingdao Second Detention Center the next day. The police also impounded her car.
9. [Hanchuan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Shu Yunlan Released After Completing Prison Term
Ms. Shu Yunlan was released from Hubei Province Women’s Prison on June 13, 2026, after serving three years and nine months.
10. [Miyi County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tian Wanzhen and Mr. Xiong Xuecai Harassed
Ms. Tian Wanzhen was harassed at home in June 2026 by the Binggu Town Police Station officers and her local village official.
Mr. Xiong Xuecai was harassed at home in June 2026 by the Salian Township Police Station officers, as well as township and village clerks. They ransacked her place and seized her Falun Gong books.
