(Minghui.org) To expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution and to call on people to help end the atrocities, Falun Gong practitioners held activities on the Boston Common on July 12, 2026.
On July 20, 1999, the CCP launched a nationwide persecution targeting 100 million Falun Gong practitioners. Jiang Zemin, the former head of the CCP, orchestrated a campaign to “ruin their reputations, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically.”
According to investigative reports by international human rights organizations and governments, thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured, leading to a large number of deaths. The United Nations, the US, the European Union, and many other countries have voiced their concerns regarding the CCP’s crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Michael, a practitioner representative, introduced the ancient cultivation practice and recounted how it has benefited practitioners around the world. He condemned the CCP’s persecution, saying, “This is the most brutal and longest human rights atrocity in China’s history. Falun Gong practitioners’ grassroots truth clarification has had a far-reaching impact on Chinese society and inspired millions of Chinese to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.”
Practitioners did the exercises together and displayed information about Falun Gong that recounted the spiritual discipline’s journey since its introduction in 1992.

Many people took informational flyers, and some took photos of the entire exhibition.
Mr. Moshe Landman (Minghui.org)
Mr. Moshe Landman, a lawyer, businessman, consultant, and politician, told practitioners he likes Falun Gong because of its physical and mental benefits. He said he knew that the CCP was cruel. “The persecution is terrible! They [CCP] have violated many international laws,” he said. “The laws in that communist country may not be able to punish them, but there are international laws. You can’t torture people, especially those with different beliefs.”
Many people stopped to talk with practitioners. Ada, a tourist, said she’d heard about the persecution and its extension to other countries, and that practitioners’ activities helped correct the CCP’s misleading information. “We need these activities. We should wake up and stop listening to the Chinese Communist Party’s slander,” she said.
Several passersby said they thought Falun Gong was beautiful and beneficial. Some said they could feel the great energy.
