(Minghui.org) A man in Zigui County, Hubei Province, is serving a ten-year term at the Fanjiatai Prison because he practices Falun Gong, Minghui.org learned recently.
Mr. Qiao Keqiong was arrested in 2017 and later sentenced to ten years. He is currently held in the first division of the prison. According to an insider, due to long-term hard labor, his fingers have become deformed. He had no family to deposit money into his commissary account and was thus unable to purchase extra food. Some of his teeth fell out as a result of malnutrition.
Mr. Qiao now helps other inmates fetch food from the prison cafeteria every day in exchange for some snacks they give him.
Other details of Mr. Qiao’s suffering in the prison remain to be investigated.
