(Minghui.org) I began to talk to people about Falun Dafa and explain the truth about the practice in 2004. The persecution was rampant at the time, so I started with my family first. Since they all acknowledged that Dafa was good, they all agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
Later, I spoke to my close relatives, including my parents, my in-laws, and my aunt. Eventually I spoke to most of my other relatives. Except for a few individuals, most of them quit the CCP and its organizations. Then I went out day to talk to strangers in public places, such as shopping malls, wedding banquets, small shops, bus stations, barbershops, and taxis. There were always several people who were receptive and agreed to renounce the CCP.
Another practitioner and I then teamed up to go out together. Most days, over a dozen people quit the CCP and its affiliated organization, on slower days, only three to five did. Sometimes we encountered setbacks, such as people shouting at us in large shopping malls or calling the police to report us, but we always managed to come through safe and sound under Master’s protection.
I’d like to share a few of my experiences.
Vegetable Vendor Shouts, “Falun Dafa Is Good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Good!”
While buying vegetables at the market, I chatted with a vegetable vendor. I talked about the high cost of pesticides and fertilizers, as well as about corrupt officials taking bribes and the cause of ordinary people’s misery. The vendor, in his 50s, agreed wholeheartedly. I continued to share facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution, and then he willingly agreed to withdraw from the CCP.
Shortly after I walked away, I heard him shout, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Half the market could hear him. I was happy for him—another life had been saved.
Party Secretary Gives a Thumbs-Up
On my way to the shopping mall one day, I recognized the Party secretary of the Housing Bureau walking toward me. I said hello to him, then I began to speak about Falen Dafa and the persecution. He agreed with what I said and quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
He gave me a thumbs-up before we parted and expressed his gratitude.
Student Blessed By Dafa's Auspicious Phrases
During a dinner gathering of retired teachers eight years ago, a former student of mine—also a retired teacher—came up and greeted me. I was happy to see him, knowing that he had come to hear me explain the facts about Dafa to him. I had already learned that he’d had three heart bypass surgeries and was now unable to tend the over 200 fruit trees that his family owned.
I pulled up a chair for him to sit down and explained the facts about Falun Dafa to him. He listened, then gladly renounced his memberships in all the CCP organizations he had joined. I also told him about Dafa auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” emphasizing that miracles would happen to him if he recited them with a sincere and earnest heart.
The following year when we met again at a similar gathering, his face was glowing and he radiated good health—totally different from the year before. He now had enough energy to take care of all his fruit trees, from pruning and fertilizing them to their overall management.
“They Are Good—I Want Them!”
In May 2005, I went on a trip organized for retired teachers to visit a hot springs with an overnight stay. Many of us went swimming together in the large pool. When we were about to leave, I approached the school’s Party secretary. Before I could even open my mouth, she said to me, “You’re really sharp and quick-witted. Why did you choose to practice Falun Dafa? The government bans it, so you should quit it.”
I then began to explain the facts to her, from what Falun Dafa is and its benefits, to the evil history of the CCP and why it persecutes Falun Dafa, from the Tiananmen Square self-immolation hoax to Falun Dafa spreading to over 100 countries. I also mentioned the characters naturally carved on a stone in Guizhou Province that read, “The CCP Will Perish,” a sign that the CCP will collapse.
She was deeply moved by what I said and sincerely agreed to withdraw from the CCP. That evening as I was meditating, I felt especially comfortable, as if I was sitting on a soft cotton cloud, and I didn’t want to take my legs down. I knew that Master was encouraging me for what I did.
Later on, whenever I ran into the Party secretary at school gatherings, she was always happy to accept the Dafa materials I offered her. She often said, “They are good—I want them!”
“It’s So Miraculous, So Miraculous.”
Over a decade ago, I ran into a retired teacher from our school who told me that his daughter couldn’t conceive after having been married for ten years. She’d tried everything available, but to no avail. He and his wife were worried about it, since his daughter was almost too old for a safe pregnancy.
His family acknowledged Dafa and had all quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, so I told him to recite the auspicious phrases, and miracles could hapen.
When I ran into him again the following year at the market, he was very excited to tell me that his daughter had given birth to a big, healthy boy. He kept saying, “It’s so miraculous, so miraculous.” His whole family was overjoyed.
