(Minghui.org) In Frankfurt on August 7, 2026, the Tian Guo Marching Band led a procession of practitioners’ from Hauptwache, past the Frankfurt Central Library toward Zeil Street, and back to Hauptwache. Practitioners carried banners and distributed flyers to inform the public about Falun Gong and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.

“I wondered what the police officers doing were here and what was going on. When I heard the music and read the banner with the three words [Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance], I understood their message,” said Ursula Becker, a retired principal who was waiting for her daughter in front of the Frankfurt Central Library.
“I think a parade like this is excellent. It is very meaningful,” she said. “For me, this is an opportunity to discover something new. It’s a very peaceful experience. Watching the people in the procession and those who were handing out flyers was a pleasant experience because everyone was so friendly, and this really touched me.
“The police officers were there simply to maintain order and ensure everyone’s safety. The music, which was powerful, attracted peoples’ attention.”
Sorya, a young IT professional who stopped to read the banners, said he thought the procession was “unique and beautiful.” He said he planned to visit China again, so he was interested in the information. This was the first time he’d heard about Falun Gong and said of practitioners, “They exude a positive vibe. From their expressions and the cheerful way they greet people, I can sense that they are truly happy and friendly. They made a wonderful impression on me.”
When he heard that practitioners follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, he said it wasn’t easy to speak the truth in China: “If anyone voices a dissenting opinion, it seems they are quickly ordered to remain silent or they may be thrown into prison.”
Reflecting on his experiences in China, he spoke of how fond he was of his Chinese friends and how friendly the people there were: “But it’s a pity that the ordinary people I saw in China were not as happy as these practitioners. I know they face many restrictions due to political issues. It is truly regrettable.”
We Need Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance
Ursula also noticed the banners that read “The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” She said, “We certainly do need that, and I think many people feel the same way. I know plenty of people who are incredibly kind and helpful. They care about more than just money. Such values exist across cultures and around the globe; they are principles that the whole world should uphold.”
She could not understand why the CCP persecutes practitioners who follow these principles: “This is, of course, unacceptable to us. It is a violation of human rights. We ought to do something to stop such cruelty. What would have to happen in China to make the persecution stop?”
The practitioner told her that the culprit is the CCP, because it fears people will see that the Party is wrong if they believe the principles. Letting more people know the facts is an important step to ending the persecution.
Spreading the Message to Help Stop the Persecution
When Ursula asked, “What can we in Europe do to help?” a practitioner told her to spread the message and that if more people knew about the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting, the demand for such organs would decrease, and this would help end the atrocity.
“If someone here needs a particular organ, there is a waiting list. Do hospitals in China have such lists?” Ursula asked.
The practitioner replied, “They don’t need such a list. Many hospitals claim they can secure organs in a very short time.” Ursula thought that was “unbelievable!”
The practitioner added that, in addition to letting more people in general know about the issue, telling her elected officials and asking them to take action to help stop the persecution can really help. She can also share the true situation in China with those who want to do big business with the CCP regime. The perpetrators are afraid their wrongdoings will be exposed. The CCP also fears having more people know the facts.
“Unfortunately, it seems no one dares to confront the Chinese government because of all the economic interests at stake. People tend to find ways to set this issue aside or simply ignore it to focus on doing business. That is a great pity,” Ursula said.
She said she would learn more about Falun Gong and sign an online petition. She added, “The important thing is to let as many people as possible know about this and to do something to expose the persecution.”
