(Minghui.org) I would like to share a few stories about good-hearted non-practitioners who have helped to clarify the truth regarding Falun Dafa and the persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Young Woman Advises Coworkers Not to Persecute Falun Gong
There was a girl on a short-term contract in my department at the hospital where I work. She is a very kind and sweet-natured person. One day I asked if she had heard about Falun Gong.
She replied, “Falun Dafa is good. I saw a lot of stickers posted in the hallways.”
I was so glad that she noticed the stickers and said, “Falun Dafa is good in spite of all the CCP’s slander and lies about it.
I later told her the facts about Dafa and offered to help her quit the Party and its affiliated organizations. She readily agreed. I really got the sense that she was an extraordinarily good person.
Not long after that, she passed the civil service exam and got a permanent position in the community. Before she left, I said, “The CCP has now delegated the enforcement of its evil policy of persecuting Falun Gong at the community level. You must not participate in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in your future work.”
She told me she wouldn’t. Some time later, she contacted me, saying, “My work has nothing to do with the persecution of Falun Gong. But I told my coworkers who are involved in the persecution not to bother Falun Gong practitioners because they are not breaking any laws and simply practice to be good and healthy people.”
I replied, “Are you an angel?” She laughed.
Veterans Help Each Other Quit the CCP
I once told a veteran the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution, including about the self-immolation hoax at Tiananmen Square, but he didn’t want to quit the Party. When I saw him again, he said that he had told his fellow veterans at a gathering that the self-immolation incident was a frame-up by the CCP to persecute Falun Gong. He told me that one of his comrades-in-arms agreed with what he said and so he had decided to quit the Party after all.
Then he asked me to be careful who I talk to about this in case I got reported.
I replied, “Thank you so much. You are very kind. However, there is a saying: ‘One righteous mind can suppress a hundred evils.’ I will be fine. Please tell more people the truth about Falun Dafa next time you have a gathering. Also, please ask your comrades to quit the CCP. If anyone agrees, just let me know next time we meet so I can help them quit.”
He laughed and so did I. He had successfully quit the Party thanks to his comrade-in-arms.
Young Couple Realize Self-immolation Incident Was Fabricated
I once struck up a conversation a young woman in her 20s and asked if she had heard about Falun Gong. She immediately said in surprise, “Aren’t you a doctor at the hospital? You told my husband about Falun Gong. You said that, from a medical perspective, someone burned by gasoline would not be able to sit still and shout slogans, and someone who has had a tracheotomy cannot sing. My husband told me about this when he got home, and we agreed you are correct—the Tiananmen ‘self-immolation’ was fake.”
She said we were destined to meet. I said I thought so, too, and suggested she quit the CCP. She agreed.
Nothing is more joyful than seeing people understand the truth! I’m truly grateful to her husband for helping to clarify the truth.
