(Minghui.org) The practitioners in my Fa study group have submitted articles to the online China Fahui held by Minghui.org every year since 2017. It’s been ten years, and I’d like to share how we have improved as a group in the process.
We all live in a rural village. We worried that we couldn’t write well because we were not well educated, or that our cultivation was not good enough. Nonetheless we encouraged each other to write. With Master Li’s help, we overcame difficulties and obstacles, and successfully submitted our sharing articles to Minghui.org each year. Now we no longer feel worried when we write experience sharing articles. We feel that the process allows us to reflect on our cultivation state, and it’s a good opportunity to improve according to the Fa.
Even though most of us only graduated from elementary school, we do our best to honestly reflect on the situations we encounter in our cultivation and our understandings. Our articles are simple, yet touching. In the past ten years, many of our sharing articles were published on Minghui.org, which was a form of great encouragement for us.
In order to improve the quality of our articles, we began attentively reading the articles published on Minghui. Besides learning from other practitioners’ righteous thoughts and improving our xinxing, we also learned about different article structures, phrases, and choice of words to improve our writing skills.
After we submitted our articles, we held small experience sharing conferences, during which we compared our cultivation journeys and how we improved together.
We used to hand write our articles and ask other practitioners to type them up and proofread them. This year, we decided to do better. We learned how to use computers, typed our own articles and proofread them ourselves. A practitioner said, “Master wants us to be considerate and be selfless and good people. We should listen to Master and not trouble the practitioner to edit for us and take up his time.”
In the ten years of submitting articles to the China Fahui, we progressed like a toddler learning how to walk. Bit by bit, we came up with the topics, improved our writing skills, and grasped how to edit and proofread. We take the process seriously, and treat it as the responsibility and mission of practitioners during Fa rectification.
It is my hope the more practitioners will make submissions to the China Fahui because it is such a precious opportunity for us to cultivate.
