(Minghui.org) August 6, 2026, is the 81th anniversary of the atomic bomb explosion in Hiroshima, Japan. Representatives from 121 countries and the European Union participated in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Approximately 50,000 people attended the ceremony.
Falun Gong practitioners collected signatures on a petition to the G7+7 countries calling for help to end the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of their belief, including the regime’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting. Many people, including ambassadors and the public, signed the petition.

Practitioners talked to people about the persecution and answered questions to raise awareness of the human rights abuses taking place in China. One man said he’d heard about the persecution many years ago and asked if it was still going on. When a practitioner told him that the persecution has continued for the past 27 years, he immediately signed the petition.

Isaac Rehse from Germany was appalled when he read about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting. He said this was the first time he’s heard about the persecution. He and his parents signed the petition.

After a practitioner asked Hamad, a teacher from Kuwait, if he would sign the petition, he read the flyer carefully and then signed.
