(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Qianguo County, Jilin Province] Mr. Leng Zhenhui Sentenced to Prison

5. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Xuemin Formally Arrested
6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Wensu Detained
7. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Liping and His Son Harassed
8. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Shujuan and Ms. Shi Xiuyan Arrested
9. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Li Released from Prison
10. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Song Xiaoli Released from Prison
1. [Qianguo County, Jilin Province] Mr. Leng Zhenhui Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Leng Zhenhui was arrested by Qianguo County Police Department officers around October 10, 2025. He was tried by the Qianguo County Court on February 5, 2026, and sentenced to seven years and six months in prison. He was admitted to the Jilin Province Second Prison on August 19.
2. [Linquan County, Anhui Province] Ms. Ji Jie Faces Trial
Ms. Ji Jie was scheduled to stand trial on September 4, 2026.
3. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Zhiqing Faces Trial
Ms. Liu Zhiqing, 73, was scheduled to appear in the Penglai District Court on September 8, 2026.
4. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Jielin Faces Trial
Mr. Zhang Jielin was arrested on August 3, 2026. He was scheduled to stand trial at the Shunqing District Court on September 17.
5. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Xuemin Formally Arrested
Mr. Zhao Xuemin, 69, was arrested on November 20, 2025, by three officers from Gaoying Police Station. His home was ransacked. Due to his high blood pressure, he was denied admission to the detention center and released on bail the next day.
Mr. Zhao was arrested again six months later and held at the Shijiazhuang City First Detention Center. The Qiaoxi District Procuratorate has issued an arrest warrant for him.
6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Wensu Detained
Ms. Li Wensu was forcibly taken away by five officers from Zhaotuo Road Police Station, who broke into her home at 8:30 a.m. on August 31, 2026. She was given 10 days of detention.
7. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Liping and His Son Harassed
Two officers of the Datun Township Police Station, led by Wu Zhanfei, an official of the Houanzhuang Village, broke into Ms. Ma Liping’s home at around 11:00 a.m. on August 28, 2026. They ransacked the place without producing a search warrant. All of Ms. Ma’s Falun Gong books were confiscated.
Ms. Ma’s mother-in-law, who was nearly 80 years old, was at home by herself during the raid. She was so terrified that her whole body trembled. She could not eat and skipped several meals.
The next day, the officers went to the home of Ms. Ma’s son in the same community to harass him.
8. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Shujuan and Ms. Shi Xiuyan Arrested
Ms. Wang Shujuan and Ms. Shi Xiuyan were arrested by more than 10 plainclothes police officers from Baiguantun Town Police Station on August 30, 2026, while talking to people about Falun Gong at Baiguantun Farmers Market. They were released hours later.
9. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Li Released from Prison
Ms. Li Li has been released from the Shandong Province Women’s Prison, after serving a three-year term.
10. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Song Xiaoli Released From Prison
Ms. Song Xiaoli was arrested on July 31, 2025, by officers from Xizhaotong Police Station for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was later sentenced to 13 months in prison and has been released from the Shijiazhuang City Second Detention Center on August 30, 2026.
