1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Yuyan Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Mr. Li Yuyan was recently sentenced to three years in prison by the Xinmin City Court.
2. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhou Liangrong Detained
Ms. Zhou Liangrong, 82, was arrested on June 13, 2026, and has been held in the Nan’an District Detention Center ever since. When her lawyer went to visit her recently, she was unable to walk, and other inmates had to carry her out.
3. [Yunmeng County, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Sanxiang and Mr. Chu Simao Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Yang Sanxiang was taken to the Hujindian Brainwashing Center by six officers from the Chengguan Police Station on August 25, 2026.
Mr. Chu Simao was taken to the same brainwashing center on August 27, 2026.
4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xue’e Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Li Xue’e, 84 and incapacitated, was sentenced to two years and eight months with three years of probation and a 10,000-yuan fine on September 5, 2026.
5. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Han Baolai and his wife, Ms. An, as well as Xiaofeng (last name unknown), were arrested on the evening of September 1, 2026, by officers from the Haicheng City Domestic Security Division. Ms. An was released on September 3, 2026, due to her poor health.
6. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhang Shulian Arrested
Ms. Zhang Shulian was arrested by Dongpuwa Police Station officers on September 3, 2026. Her home was ransacked.
7. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ai and Ms. Hu Xin’gai Harassed
Ms. Ai and Ms. Hu Xin’gai were harassed by officers from the Xiangjiangdao Police Station on August 28, 2026. The officers searched both of their homes.
8. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia] Mr. Luan Ning and Mr. Zheng Yongxin Released from Prison
Mr. Luan Ning was released on August 26, 2026, after serving 10 years in prison.
Mr. Zheng Yongxin was released on August 24, 2026, after serving five years and ten months.
9. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Qin Yueling Missing
Ms. Qin Yueling has been missing since August 31, 2026.
10. [Tianjin City] Ms. Li Xiping Detained
Ms. Li Xiping, 66, was reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested at home on August 26, 2026.
11. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Zhang Changsheng was arrested at home on August 28, 2026.
Ms. Li Chunhui was arrested at home on September 2, 2026.
Mr. Zhang Wenguang was arrested in early September 2026.
12. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zheng Lijuan Missing
Ms. Zheng Lijuan has been missing for over two months.
13. [Zhao County, Hebei Province] Mr. Xie Suoshan Harassed
Mr. Xie Suoshan, 76, was harassed at home on September 2 and again on 3, 2026, by officers from the Fanzhuang Police Station. They ordered him to sign documents, which he refused to do. His wife has been bedridden for over six months and relies on him for care. The harassment has put a lot of pressure on the family.
14. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Suyi Missing
Ms. Liu Suyi, in her 50s, didn’t return home after she was released from the Dalian City Second Lockup on September 5, 2026. Her family suspects that she might have been arrested again.
