(Minghui.org) A 67-year-old woman in Ningcheng County, Inner Mongolia, was arrested on September 14, 2026, for her faith in Falun Gong. Her incapacitated husband, who relied on her for care, is now in dire straits.
Ms. Li Ruixian was first harassed by officials from the Wazimiao Village Committee on September 11, 2026. They claimed that they were “checking in on her.” She told them how she benefited from practicing Falun Gong.
Three days later on September 14, a group of officers broke into Ms. Li’s home and arrested her. Many of her valuable belongings were confiscated. The police refused to provide any information regarding her case or even her detention location.
Ms. Li’s bedridden husband is left to fend for himself.
