(clearwisdom.net) Wang Yongdong, male, 38-years-old, was one of the assistants for Yishui Falun Gong practitioners. He made his living in the eastern part of Yishui County by selling vegetables. Since he started practicing Falun Gong, he has been following the teaching of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" strictly. He is highly regarded by his neighbors.
Gao Mei, female, 30-years-old, was born in Lugou Village, Fuguangzhuang Town, Yishui County, Shangdong Province. She was beaten and tortured brutally by local police officials because she persisted in her belief in Falun Gong. She was sent to the Yishui Detention Office and tortured to death on August 22, 2001. Her husband is still being illegally detained and brutally tortured. More details will be revealed after further investigation.

NEW YORK, October 4, 2001 (Falun Dafa Information Center) - The Information Center has confirmed the deaths of two more Falun Gong practitioners, both from Shandong Province, who died from police abuse. Their deaths are the 50th and 51st in Shandong Province. The Center has also learned more details surrounding the death of Deng Weinan, of Heilongjiang Province, who, according to Police, died on August 3rd, 2001.
