What Are Supernormal Abilities

Supernormal abilities are also called divine powers. Contemporary people call them extraordinary abilities. Supernormal abilities are in fact beings' innate abilities. The higher a being's level, the more fully his innate abilities can take effect; conversely, the lower a being's level, the harder it is for his innate abilities to take effect, or to take full effect. The fundamental reason is that in this cosmos, from the highest level to the lowest level, the lower it gets, the higher the proportion of matter beings and everything in their particular realms have, the larger the particles' grains are, and the more weight beings carry--the lower it gets, the more the beings' innate abilities (supernormal abilities) are restrained by matter itself, and the more heavy this restraint, the less effective the abilities are.

Practitioner Xin Mingru Suffers Physical and Mental Torture

Ms. Xin Mingru is an employee of a real estate company in Hengshui City, Hebei Province. On December 21, 2001, she paid a business visit to practitioner Guo Zhijiang. There happened to be some policemen at Guo' place and they asked whether Xin practiced Falun Gong. She said, "Yes." The police then sent her to Hengshui First Detention Center for no reason.

Zhejiang University Professor Pan Kaixiang Stands Trial

Pan Kaixiang is an associate professor at Zhejiang University. He is in his 30s and holds a master' degree in psychology. Dr. Pan is beloved by his students and has received several awards for excellence in teaching. The Xihu District Court in the city of Hangzhou has announced that he will be sentenced to prison next Monday afternoon (June 18) for simply being a Falun Gong practitioner.
