According to the latest statistics on Minghui Net, more than 54,700 Falun Gong practitioners have made "Solemn Declarations" to the world that the documents they signed under duress and detainment in the brainwashing classes are null and void and that they will continue to practice Falun Dafa. Over the last three months, more than 13,200 Falun Gong practitioners made public "Solemn Declarations" on Minghui Net. These reports confirm that Jiang's attempts to eliminate Falun Gong continue to be ineffective.

Dalian City Dafa practitioner Li Xiumei was detained in the Yaojia Detention Center. She was removed from her cell and force-fed two days before her death. She was exhausted upon her return. She said, "They pinched my nose and covered my mouth so that I couldn't breathe. They tried to suffocate me." She also said, "In what they force-fed me, there was a mind-altering drug."
