Ding Wen, a male Falun Gong practitioner about 30-years-old, lived in Shiyan City, Hubei province. He had been lawlessly detained in a brainwashing class. He was tortured to death on January 14, 2002, and his body was surreptitiously cremated on January 16, 2002. His wife, Chen Rongmei is now being held in a brainwashing class. The police, in an effort to keep the news from being made public, have threatened witnesses not to reveal the truth.
