Authorities from Xianning City, Hubei Province will sentence Dafa practitioner Cai Huilan to seven years of imprisonment. After hearing the news, many practitioners went to Xianning City's Intermediate Court on July 8 and July 9. They sat in the courtyard, which frightened the lawless officials who have cancelled the court session twice. In the meantime, practitioners kept sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil in other dimensions that are persecuting Dafa and Dafa practitioners, to stop the vicious trial and request an unconditional release of practitioner Cai Huilan.

On April 5, 2001, Mr. Ma Yucheng, 50-years-old, director of the Integration Factory of Huludao City's Material Bureau, was tricked in to going to the Qunying Restaurant and was arrested. Policemen ransacked his home. His bags were pried open. The heating pipe insulation was damaged. All the bedding was thrown to the floor and trampled. The whole house was a mess.

Ma Yucheng was detained for these fourteen months, from April 5, 2001 to May 29, 2002. On May 29, 2002, Lianshan District's Court, Huludao City sentenced Ma Yucheng to six years of imprisonment based on trumped-up charges. Ma Yucheng appealed but Huludao City's Intermediate Court rejected his appeal. The process of sentencing was illegal and secret. Ma Yucheng's family was not informed and no one was allowed to attend the sentencing. They dared not let anyone know the sentence.

On June 28, over 80 Dafa practitioners successfully held an experience-sharing meeting in a city in Hubei Province. The meeting was grand and sacred. More than a dozen practitioners shared their experiences in Fa-rectification cultivation. Some practitioners who had previously never stepped forward said that they would proactively melt themselves into the mighty current of Fa-rectification, expose the evil, clarify the truth and assist Teacher in the human world. Police arrived ten minutes after the meeting had concluded to arrest practitioners, but they failed to find anyone.

As July 20 is drawing near, on the night of July 6, practitioners in this city hung up over 20 truth-clarifying banners reading, "Falun Dafa is good" in the city committee's yard and posted many flyers.

Officials from the brainwashing center in the Yuecheng Hotel, Langfang City physically and mentally persecuted Dafa practitioners and also extorted the huge sum of 10,000 Yuan per month [500 Yuan is the average monthly income in urban areas of China] from practitioners. These same officials recently distributed recklessly concocted pamphlets to collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture], and ordered them to deceive Dafa practitioners. These pamphlets quoted Zhuan Falun out of context, misrepresented the meanings at will, mixed the words up with teachings in Buddhism, and used the Q&A format to make the pamphlet. They distributed the booklets to collaborators for them to use to deceive people.

Liu Weihong, a teacher from Shijiazhuang No. 30 Middle School was the first one successfully brainwashed. Afterwards, she played an important role in persecuting Dafa practitioners. She helped wardens distribute the pamphlets. She is still doing "volunteer instructor" work in Xinhua District's brainwashing class of Shijiazhuang City.

Some labor camps have the rule that those relatives who want to visit practitioners should go to their local police offices to get a "non-practitioner certificate," and then go to the "610 Office" [An agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] for stamps of approval, otherwise, they are not allowed see the practitioners. Those relatives who were also practitioners did not need to get the certificate and seal. They could visit the practitioners with their identification cards. For those relatives who were also practitioners but had not visited the practitioners for a long time, the labor camp officials even called them to say that the practitioners in the labor camp had health problems in order to deceive the relatives to go to the labor camp for brainwashing.

During the visit, officials in the labor camp ordered collaborators to brainwash those relatives who were also practitioners. If the relatives did not give in within several hours, collaborators would say, "It was not easy for you to get here from far away. Why not stay here for several days and experience life here?" or, "It is so precious for your family to get together. Just stay here for several days." Some relatives' sentimentality let them be moved and not recognize the plot. So they stayed. During the following days, collaborators would continuously and intensely indoctrinate these relatives.

On May 12, a practitioner from Hanyang District, Wuhan City went to Hankou Zhongshan Park without knowing policemen were following. When he/she arrived in the park and got ready to meet other practitioners, many policemen arrested them. Four practitioners were taken to the police precinct. Policemen ransacked their homes and took away many Dafa truth-clarifying materials. One practitioner was released because no materials were found on her or at her home. The situation of the other three practitioners is presently unknown.

On May 21, someone reported a practitioner from Wuhan City to the police because he distributed Dafa truth-clarifying CD materials. As it happened unexpectedly, the practitioner was arrested immediately and policemen ransacked his home. They confiscated his computer, CD-RW, printer, Dafa truth-clarifying source CD and some other materials. Currently he is in a detention center.

At 8:00 a.m. on July 7, 22 practitioners detained at the Xinglong Detention Center in Mudanjiang City were secretly sentenced. The court strictly blocked the news to the public. Practitioners' relatives and other people were not allowed to attend. There was no lawyer representing the practitioners. Dafa practitioners defended themselves. In court they spoke loudly, "Falun Dafa is good!" Finally, they refused to sign the sentencing papers.

In December 2001, Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Fuyuan was detained at Huludao City's Forced Labor Camp. Li went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Eighteen or nineteen days later, he was unconditionally released. In November 2001, Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Shuzhong was transferred to Huludao City's Forced Labor Camp from another place. In December 2001 he went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. He was released 18 days later.

During the hunger strike, jail doctor Wang Dazhu tortured both Mr. Li Fuyuan and Mr. Li Shuzhong. Their hands and feet were cuffed on the bed so they could not move. Wang Dazhu incited prisoners in the labor camp to take off the bed boards, leaving only three pieces - one under the shoulder, one under the buttocks and another under the feet. Mr. Li Fuyuan and Mr. Li Shuzhong had to urinate and defecate on the bed. Wang Dazhu also instigated prisoners to force-feed Mr. Li Fuyuan and Mr. Li Shuzhong with salt water.

Jilin Province's officials from the "610 Office" conspired in a new round of persecution against Falun Gong and prepared to continue to hold brainwashing classes. The "610 Office" intends to force each corporation, different units and all levels of governments to send those of their employees who are Dafa practitioners and who insist on practicing Falun Gong, to brainwashing classes. It also coerced these units to participate in the persecution.

On June 10, 2002, Ms. Cui Zhanyun, a 56-year-old Dafa practitioner was illegally arrested at a bus station on the way to her relative's home and detained at Yushu City's Detention Center. During her detention she kept on protesting the illegal incarceration with a hunger strike. Now she has been sent to Changchun City's Heizuizi Female Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. Cai Xiuhua, about 50 years old, is from Yushu City. Around June 10, 2002 she was arrested and put into Changchun City's Heizuizi Female Forced Labor Camp.

Dafa practitioner Li Hongkui was an electrician for the Chumu Machining Factory of Helongjiang Province's Fangzheng Forest Bureau.

In February 2000, Li Hongkui went to Beijing to appeal. Policemen arrested him as soon as he arrived at Tiananmen Square and sent him to a local detention center. Police forced him to write a "guarantee statement" to promise not to practice Falun Gong. He firmly refused, resulting in beatings, abuse and torture in jail. Once, policemen forced him to bow at an angle of 90-degrees for more than four hours, until he vomited blood. After being illegally detained for over a year he was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor. When the forced labor term expired, he still refused to write a "guarantee statement." That is the reason he is still detained at the detention center.

Li Hongkui has been illegally detained for more than two years. His over 70-year-old father was left at home without care. His family was broken up and his two young children couldn't enjoy their father's love.

Han Dongyi took charge of persecuting Falun Gong. As long as a Falun Gong practitioner said he would continue practicing Falun Gong, he would be illegally detained. Han Dongyi put over fifty Falun Gong practitioners into illegal detention. He also illegally sent the practitioners who went to Beijing to appeal or distributed truth-clarifying materials to forced labor camps. He led other gangs to ransack Dafa practitioners' homes many times in order to search for Dafa books and materials. If the outer doors were locked, they would climb over the courtyard wall or even pry the door open, just like bandits.

In the summer of 2000, when Dafa practitioners Mr. Ma Chuncheng and Mr. Chen Jiping visited Mr. Chen Haifeng, Han Dongyi handcuffed the three persons and took them to the police department, without any due process. He confiscated 400 Yuan from Ma Chunchen and 50 Yuan from Chen Jiping and put the money into his own pocket. Furthermore, demanding a "deposit," he extorted 3,000 Yuan from Chen Haifeng without giving any receipt. Under threats, he even extorted valuables from practitioners.

In May 2002, he again forced Falun Gong practitioners to write the "guarantee statement." After they firmly rejected his orders, he sent four practitioners to a detention center. Falun Gong practitioners' houses were under tight surveillance around the clock and no practitioner was allowed to go out.

Huludao City's Gangtun Town Police Precinct personnel have already illegally sentenced dozens of Dafa practitioners to forced labor or imprisonment and have sent about one hundred Dafa practitioners to brainwashing classes to suffer excruciating treatment.

Beginning July 6, in order to put Dafa practitioners into a brainwashing class, several policemen from the precinct and public security team besieged Dafa practitioners' homes at 11:00 p.m. They blocked both the front door and back door, climbed over courtyard walls and searched everywhere to relentlessly arrest Dafa practitioners.

We have heard that so far, five Dafa practitioners have been already sent to the Xingcheng Brainwashing Center.

On June 28, 2002, a Dafa materials center in Suizhong County was ransacked, and suffered a loss of approximately 3,000 copies of truth-clarifying brochures, five speakers, some cash, mobile phones and motorcycles. Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Dong Guixia and Mr. Jin Fujun were arrested. Mr. Jin has escaped.

On the afternoon of July 10, 2002, lawless personnel from the Shuini Street Police Precinct followed 40-year-old practitioner Ms. Cao Yanzhuo from Huludao City while she was distributing truth-clarifying leaflets. She was then taken to the Shuini Street Police Precinct and suffered excruciating tortures. At present, she is being held at Huludao City's Detention Center.

At noon on April 13, 2002, director Zhang Haichen from a street administrative office led four people, Chen Jiusheng, director of the Yangzhangzi Police Station, policeman Ma Da, Xiao and Liang to Dafa practitioner Hu Baochun's home. With the excuse of wanting to talk to Hu, they started to search everywhere as soon as they entered the door. Later on, they forcibly took Hu to the police car. Left at home were the over 60-year-old mother who is partially paralyzed and unable to take care of herself, and a son who was about to take the university entrance exam.

After Hu was taken to the police station he was handcuffed to a bench for over 20 hours. They took the handcuffs off on the morning of April 14 and sent Hu to a brainwashing class. Hu refused to eat and drink in order to protest the persecution. On the 10^th day, staff at the detention center sent Hu to the Municipal Center Hospital for forced injection. On the 11^th day they transferred Hu to the New District Hospital for a physical examination and found that his hands and feet were ice-cold due to lack of circulation, his blood pressure was very unstable and his electro-cardiogram was abnormal. On the evening of April 23, staff of the detention center informed Hu's family members to pick him up. Practitioner Hu Baochun got out of the detention center on the 11^th day and is now forced to leave home and live in exile.

Deputy director of Hubei Province's Forced Labor Camp Bureau is the chief person in charge.

Zhang Xingfu, originally from the Shayang Forced Labor Camp, is the person directly in charge. He directly coordinates all contact persons from Dafa practitioners' work units and schemes for the long-term persecution of practitioners.

Director Jin from Hubei Province's Workers' Committee, phone number 011-86-27-87234314 or 87233774. He directly determines whether or not to detain or release a practitioner, and is also the person in charge of the provincial "610 Office." The same as Zhang Xingfu mentioned above, he also signed a contract with his work unit. He went to homes of the practitioners who had written "repentance statements" against their will, to continuously make them show their stances and force them to hand in Falun Gong books and materials.

Team leader Bi, female, over 30-years-old, is mainly responsible for brainwashing. She was sent to Beijing to learn specifically how to carry out brainwashing. She orders and even holds practitioners' hands to write the so-called "repentance statement."

Team leader Tian, a former instructor from the Shayang Forced Labor Camp, is in charge of giving a so-called "legal class," which is all Dafa-slandering stuff. He tries to force Dafa practitioners to accept his brainwashing and admit the propaganda on TV is true. His behavior is extremely vicious.

Gong Jian is a photographer who fabricated many pictures. Once a practitioner was forced to write something, he would immediately take pictures and make them into slandering materials.

Accompanying guards for every male Dafa practitioner are all policemen directly dispatched by the provincial "610 Office."

Note: For those who had compromised under pressure, the brainwashing class arranged a last lunch for them when the class was concluded. All accompanying staff forced them to drink highly potent alcohol in order to test if they were truly transformed.

According to reliable sources, the Xiangheyuan "610 Office" in the Chaoyang District rented two rooms and schemed to set up a so-called "One Mind Room" in order to achieve the goal of continuously brainwashing Dafa practitioners. The ringleaders of the "610 Office," including Zhang Decai and Xue Youxin, even attempted to make Xiangheyuan the "model" of brainwashing classes in the Chaoyang District. The collaborators assisted the evil. They have been incessantly doing bad deeds.

Zheng Xilan, female, has been very active after she compromised in the brainwashing class. She has tortured Dafa practitioners, has attacked Dafa and has done all possible evil deeds.

Yu Zhentao has brainwashed nearly a hundred people. He constantly beats up Dafa practitioners.

Xu Qiuxia, female, collaborated with the "610 Office"; led policemen to arrest Dafa practitioners; mustered other collaborators to cooperate with the "610 Office" to trick practitioners; provided consultation to the police and the "610 Office". She even suggested that police, other collaborators and vile persons from the "610 Office" torture and deprive a practitioner of sleep who had been practicing at the same site with her.

Su Jinhua, female, has been holding brainwashing classes to deceive Dafa practitioners in the Chaoyang District and her local district for a little more than the past year. She is very sinister at heart and abusive in language.

Other collaborators who exerted their full strength for the "610 Office" include Tang Wansheng, Jin Jianying and Lei Ying.

Liu Hai'ou, female, a resident of Laohekou City. This collaborator not only uses both "stick and carrot tricks" but also beats up practitioners and curses Dafa and Teacher. She uses extremely vicious language.

Ji Mouhua, female, over 60 years old, a resident of Jingmen City, has always sung the praises for the chief wretch who persecutes Dafa.

Wang Changhui, female, betrayed Dafa at the Hewan Forced Labor Camp. When she was sent to a brainwashing class for the second time, she constantly cursed Dafa and directly denied Truth-Compassion-Tolerance. She even took the initiative to work for the "610 Office."

Lu Bolin, female: while a reporter interviewed her, she smeared and slandered Falun Gong many times.

Recently, Hubei Province's brainwashing classes, Wuhan City's brainwashing classes and the Hewan Forced Labor Camp, as well as others adopted the method of brainwashing practitioners from the inside. The scoundrels utilized those frail collaborators to brainwash detained Dafa practitioners and tried their "stick and carrot tricks" in a hypocritical manner. They tortured practitioners mentally and confused practitioners' normal thinking. These methods were extremely villainous.
