Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape karmic retribution.
- Supervisor Wang Haizhen from Puyang City Police Department frequently arrests and persecutes Dafa practitioners. On May 19 he displayed a photo exhibition at the police department defaming Dafa and Master Li Hongzhi. The next day Wang Haizhen required surgery. This serves as a warning. Don't continue to be careless without regard to your lives.
- Some Gusaoshu village officials from Jianghan District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province cooperated with the local "610 Office" to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. Within two years many evil people received imminent retribution. Former village director Gao Guojian, Party secretary Dong Mingpeng, and women's affairs supervisor Liu Yuzhi were all ousted because of "financial scandals." The swindled properties were taken back and they were expelled from the Party's membership. This year the new village director Deng Yaojing misappropriated more than a million Yuan. He was arrested in Huangpi District by the area prosecutor.
