During the 112th Session of the Committee of Ministers held in Strasbourg, France 14-15 May 2003, some Falun Dafa practitioners from France, Switzerland and Germany went to appeal to the Foreign Ministers of various European countries and called upon the committee to squarely face and help stop the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The Committee is a body of the Council of Europe.

Ms. Huang Lisha,
a 35-year-old Dafa practitioner, was a cadre in Yangcunpu Coalmine
in Longchi Town, Emeishan City, Sichuan Province. Her ID was
confiscated after July 20, 1999 when Jiang's regime started the
persecution of Falun Gong.
(Clearwisdom.net) The police in Liuan City, Anhui Province brutally persecute Dafa disciples. In mid-April of this year, Huoshan Police Department of Liuan City arrested Dafa disciple Mei Lanzhu, a teacher in her 50's. She was sent to Liuan City Police Department in late April, and was tortured to death about two weeks later. The police lied to the public and claimed that she committed suicide.
