On January 24, 2004, I was standing around the midsection of Champs Elysees waiting for the New Year's parade to pass by. I was in the company of my Chinese relatives who are live in Paris and whom I hadn't seen for almost six years.

(Clearwisdom.net) On January 28 2004, Falun Gong practitioners filed a lawsuit in the Paris prosecutor's office against visiting Chinese Culture Minister Sun Jiazheng for "incitement of massacre and persecution."

The BBC reported that the Falun Gong practitioners said Sun was responsible for "crimes of torture" against the group, which is banned in China.
