(Clearwisdom.net) On April 24, 2004, Chang Gung University held its anniversary celebration. The Falun Dafa Club set up a booth to help more people know about Falun Dafa and the facts of the persecution in China. Though it rained hard and the temperature decreased suddenly, crowds of people visited the booths. Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity to distribute bookmarks and truth-clarifying literature, and taught people the Falun Gong exercises.
Around the booth of the Falun Dafa Club were pictures showing the wide spread of Falun Gong in Taiwan and worldwide and Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. Two students stopped to look at the pictures and said, "The persecution is so terrible, cruel and abnormal." It reflected the thinking of many kind-hearted people.
After listening to the introduction of a practitioner, one student said that one should keep an open mind and attempt to understand but not jump to conclusions about unfamiliar things. Practitioners asked him to read Zhuan Falun and told him that he would understand the grace of Dafa and see through the slanderous lies of Jiang's regime.
Falun Dafa practitioners offered free teaching and distributed flyers to students and teachers. One student said, "Among all the booths, only yours is non-profit." One faculty member praised the practitioners for their voluntary distribution of flyers and accepted a bookmark.
The free teaching lasted for two hours and participants benefited from the exercises. One library attendant said that she was very interested in the exercises after seeing the notice of free teaching and that she would join the group exercises.
Through this booth, more faculty and students learned about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China. The practitioners were pleased to participate in this meaningful activity and to see the wide spread of Dafa throughout university campuses in Taiwan.
