(Clearwisdom.net) On the July 1, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners who have been on a week-long car tour of Scotland to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong, took a detour to the Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh. After hearing that an Australian Falun Gong practitioner had been shot in South Africa by thugs hired by Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong, the practitioners taking part in the 2nd 2004 Scotland Car Tour became extremely concerned over the latest attempt by Jiang and his accomplices to export their brutal persecution outside of China. They joined other practitioners at the consulate in Edinburgh to call for an end to the persecution in China and for Jiang Zemin and other instigators of the persecution to be brought to justice for their crimes against humanity.
A letter written by practitioners was handed to the consulate. The letter presented the facts of the escalating violence and kindly asked people to follow goodness and not to follow someone who exports such violence to foreign countries in an attempt to cover his abhorrent crimes. The letter was refused by the consulate. Later, when a staff member who was entering the consulate was offered the letter, he said in an angry voice, "Do not interfere! Do not cross the line!" But it is obvious that it is Jiang Zemin who has truly crossed the line, stabbing at the heart of a peaceful people and attempting to destroy their beliefs and morality.
