The fifty-sixth session of the Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights is taking place this year from July 26 to August 13 at the Office of the United Nations in Geneva. A representative of the non-governmental organization (NGO) Interfaith International made a statement on the responsibilities of transnational corporations and other business enterprises with regard to human rights.
