
(Clearwisdom.net) During the 61th Session of United Nations Human Rights Commission, the United Nations High Commissioner on Human Rights announced last year's many human rights reports and human rights dialogues between the Commission and China, including reports on the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. The excerpts from the seven Special Rapporteurs' reports regarding the People's Republic of China are as follows:

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 27, 2005, a Singapore court rendered an unjust verdict against two Falun Gong practitioners who reside in Singapore. Ms. Ng Chye Huay and Ms. Chen Lu Jin were wrongfully accused and found guilty for "assembly without a permit" and "possession and distribution of VCD's without an MDA certificate." On April 27, 2005, the Subordinate Court in Singapore convicted two Falun Gong practitioners because they handed out flyers and VCD's exposing the persecution of Falun Gong at Esplanade Park in May 2004. They were ordered to pay fines of S$20,000 (US $12,216) and S$24,000 (US $14,660). Declaring their innocence, the practitioners refused to pay and asked to appeal. They were imprisoned that day without bail.
