Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Huludao Re-education Center is active in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. However, it is a heavenly principle that good is rewarded with good and evil meets with retribution. Over the years, most of the officials who persecute Falun Gong have received karmic retribution, thus restraining their evil deeds. Below are several examples.
Ding Wenxue, the former deputy head in charge of persecuting Falun Gong received karmic retribution soon after he shocked practitioner Chen Wan using an electric baton in 2000. His arm became dislocated. Later, he beat practitioner Liang Guoman, and subsequently, his arm was dislocated again. Falun Gong practitioners reminded him that it was karmic retribution.
Zhang Guozhu, the former head of the "Special Division," has suffered from serious heart disease several times because he shocked Falun Gong practitioners using an electric baton.
Liu Haihou, the former head of the "Special Division," who frequently beat and slandered Falun Gong practitioners, now has severely high blood pressure. He also got divorced several times. Presently, he is still alone, and has turned into a degenerate gambler and drunkard who is in great debt.
Wu Shushan, the former political commissar of the re-education center, who was in charge of persecuting Falun Gong and also tortured Chen Dewen in Gejia Township, Suizhong County, Huludao City to death, suffered a stroke several days after Chen Dewens death.
Liu Jiawen, the former head of the No. 2 "Special Division," also participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in 2001. Six practitioners were given heavy prison sentences under his command. After that, Liu Jiawen became the chief of the Health Section, and was later removed from the office due to the escape of detainees.
Wang Shengli, the former section chief of the Supervisory Section, supervised guards to brutally beat and worked to "reform" Falun Gong practitioners. He was removed from the position owing to the "4.16" incident (when Zhang Bin was beaten to death), and developed hepatitis afterwards.
Zhang Fusheng, the former deputy chief of the Supervisory Section, was the most vicious person working in the re-education center. He was involved in almost every case of persecution of Falun Gong practitioners there. However, he was sentenced to four and a half years of imprisonment due to releasing detainees at will and dealing in narcotics on the black market.
Wang Chunyuan, the former director of the re-education center, who actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, was removed from his position due to the "4.16" incident.
Yao Chuang, the former deputy director of the re-education center in charge of the persecution of Falun Gong, was also removed from the position because of the "4.16" incident, and came under further investigation owing to some of his previous illegal acts.
Guo Aimin, an assistant in the Administration Section, frequently participated in electric shock torture of Falun Gong practitioners. It was reported that Guos ten-year-old son needed surgery for an ailment.
Xu Guohua, team head of the No. 2 Common Division, participated in the violent "reform" of Falun Gong practitioners in the beginning of 2003. Three days later, he was struck by a drill bit in the neck and had to go to Beijing for surgery. He was on the verge of death because blood had collected in his chest.
Ding Yaduo, head of the No. 1 Common Division, also participated in the violent "reform" of Falun Gong practitioners, and tortured detainees by assignment of a "reform" quota. In 2002, a detainee was thrown in front of an oncoming train and died. One year later, Ding stirred up the "4.16" incident, when the detainee Zhang Bin was tortured to death. He used millions of yuan extorted from detainees over the years to buy an "execution probation."
Lang Tieshuang, the former head of the No. 1 Common Division, and Bo Chengdu, the instructor of the division, were also given prison sentences due to the "4.16" incident.
Yang Yanguo, head of the No. 4 Division and Zhao Lei, deputy head of the division, participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. After the Mid-Autumn festival, they sent practitioners Chen Zhiguo and Liu Wei to the Jinzhou re-education center for further persecution. They received karmic retribution soon after. During National Day of 2005, several detainees quarreled and fought with each other while playing cards and one detainees arm was broken during the fighting. Therefore, Yang Yanguo and Zhao Lei received punishment, but they still continued to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Xu Baotian was beaten so severely that he could not get out of bed. During the Chinese New Year of 2006, a detainee escaped from the re-education center and the No. 4 Division was subsequently dismissed.
Above are just a few examples in which evil people who persecuted Falun Gong practitioners received immediate karmic retribution.
