(Clearwisdom.net) After the horrifying discovery of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and the immediate cremation of their bodies to destroy the evidence was exposed on March 4, 2006, the Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui/Clearwisdom websites founded the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG, also called "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution") exactly one month later. The CIPFG is collecting information from people who have come forward and is calling on people who know the truth to further expose the crimes concerning illegal organ harvesting in China. We call on all people of conscience to lend their help to expose the facts of this vicious persecution of Falun Gong practitioners inside secret concentration camps, forced labor camps, prisons and hospitals in China. The sooner this atrocity is fully exposed, the sooner this brutal persecution will end. Below is information that came to light recently.
Investigation Lead: Kidney Transplant Can Be Done within Five to Fifteen Days at the Rende Hospital in Weifang City
Weifang Rende Hospital in Shandong Province is a hospital that specializes in kidney transplants. During the past few years, it has performed large numbers of kidney transplants. Several of these have been carried out for patients from the area surrounding Shouguang City. They were from the Xincheng Refrigeration Factory, a food factory, Chenli Village, and Nanguan Village.
Someone went to the hospital for consultation, and a director by the last name of Su told him that it normally takes 5-7 days, or sometimes up to 15 days, to get a kidney transplant. Those with unusual needs for matches might need to wait longer. The cost ranges between $60,000 to 90,000 for one kidney transplant, and the price is based on the blood type.
During the past few years, this hospital has carried out large numbers of kidney transplants and the source of the kidneys is very suspicious.
The hospital is located at the northeast corner of Weifang City, and the phone number is 86-536-8883213.
The hospital head is Liu Zhongjian, who was director of the Kidney Disease Department in Weifang City People's Hospital.

According to internal staff members, this hospital has completed at least eight cases of kidney and liver transplants in January. Since the hospital didn't want to disclose the information as to the number of transplant cases performed, this is being investigated.

Beijing Military General Hospital's Liver Transplant Center
In late March 2007, I accompanied my relative to the Beijing Military General Hospital to receive treatment. In the waiting room, I met a person who came from the same province. While we were chatting, he mentioned the following:
Last year, when he accompanied his relative to be admitted into the hospital, it was the time when the staff members of the hospital were going through their annual checkup. One of the staff members was found to have liver cancer. However, he received a liver transplant very quickly, and is doing great now.
After listening to what he said, I asked him, "How can it be possible to find a suitable liver in such a short time?" He replied, "There is a liver transplant center in this hospital, and before the Chinese New Year, they completed 30 liver transplants. One transplant costs 300,000 yuan--what a profitable business." I then asked, "How can they find that many livers?" He said, "They are all from executed prisoners." I said, "I never heard that there are so many executed prisoners out there." He said, "I am not sure. They are all live livers anyways."
After that, I went over to a bulletin board where pictures of the three specialists for liver transplants were displayed. One is a PhD who graduated from the China Medical Science University, one was transferred from Tianjin, and the last is the head of the department at the hospital.
Investigation Lead: Points of Suspicion at the Liaoning Province Prison Administration Bureau, Xiongyue Rehab Center
Address: Wenquan Village in Xiongyue City of Bayuequan Economic Development District, Yingkou City in Liaoning Province (Countryside, very remote, 70 km. (43.5 mi.) away from Yingkou City, 20 km. (12.4 mi.) away from Bayuquan Economic Development District, 3 km. (1.9 mi.) away from Xiongyue City)
Name: Liaoning Province Prison Administration Bureau, Xiongyue Rehab Center
Nature of the hospital: Affiliated with the Liaoning Province Prison Administration Bureau, it is a place used by administrative staff from the prison. It's also a comprehensive hospital open to the public.
The prison, which was recently transformed to its current state, was reconstructed by prisoners. Every room is equipped with monitoring devices, and there are is also an overall monitoring system. The facility is used to detain 40 to 50 people, all males under 40 years old. The number of detainees has been increasing.
There are at least three Falun Gong practitioners among those detainees. Wardens in the prison are all transfers from other provinces, and they frequently have meetings about Falun Gong.
A few days prior to May 1, there were over 200 people secretly transferred to this hospital. A majority of them, about 150, were mental patients. They were all detained on the fourth floor and guarded by military police. Everyone had to go through a thorough medical checkup. They were not allowed to say one word during the medical checkup and were guarded closely. They were all males under 40 years old, and their food contained rice, fish, meat and eggs. Some of them were secretly transported out of town.
Staff and doctors working at this hospital are not from Xiongyue City.

Urging CIPFG to Pay Attention to the Situation of Organ Transplants in Military Hospitals
One day in March 2007, a coworker introduced a patient to me. This patient was a 43-year-old middle school teacher whose name was Zhao Qinglian. Seven years ago, she was diagnosed with liver cancer. She said, "When I was going through the examination at the Beijing 301 Hospital, a specialist said to me, 'What a pity, you are so young. Please come to get a liver transplant, we plan to roll out this project and since you are the first one, we'll do it for you free of charge.'" This patient said that after she arrived there, the operation began within one hour. I asked her whether she knew the donor, and she said that he was a 25 year-old male, a "criminal." The CCP began to detain Falun Gong practitioners on a large scale in 2000, the same year that the organ harvesting began. It is highly unlikely for an organ match to be found so quickly without a large-scale, living organ bank.
During the recent few years, liver and kidney transplants have often been performed at the Beijing Military General Hospital. The number and frequency of operations appears suspicious. We urge the CIPFG to pay attention to organ transplants taking place in military hospitals.
