In the twinkling of an eye, eight years have passed since Dafa disciples were first subjected to persecution. During this process Dafa disciples have traveled many arduous paths, and it really hasn't been easy. You have gone from at first not knowing what to do or how to deal with the persecution to gradually understanding how you should do things. And not only have you come to know how to do things, you have also grown, owing to the harshness of the persecution, ever more rational and clearheaded.

There is always a good turnout for the New York Fa conferences since you all know that Master spends a lot of time in the New York area. Each Dafa disciple is trying his utmost to do what he should do on the path of validating the Fa, and since what you are doing at present is closely linked to your cultivation, you are in fact cultivating this way. The form that your cultivation takes has one cultivate in ordinary human society, and people in different social classes or different professions can all cultivate; and as you reside in different societies and make use of the different professions you are in to validate the Fa and save sentient beings in every corner of the world, you are utilizing this present form of society to cultivate.

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners Qu Fengju and Lu Yuhui from Dingxing County, Hebei Province were arrested for "clarifying the facts" about Falun Gong. They were severely beaten.
Four days after the 2005 Lunar New Year's Day, Qu Fengju and Lu Yuhui went to Longhua Village, Dingxing County, to clarify the facts. On their way, they were reported by Zhang Shumei.
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Yu Cuilan, a Falun Gong practitioner, is from Changchun City, Jilin Province. She was tortured so brutally at Heizuizi Prison that she is now almost immobile. Five people need to carry her to the toilet room because she is very weak and in a critical condition. Recently her family members requested to visit her, but the head of Heizuizi Prison and the thugs at Mingzhu Police Station physically assaulted and beat her family members.

I was arrested by officers from my local police station in the end of 2004 and was sent to the Qiqihar Forced Labor Camp. Officials at the labor camp started to persecute me from the first day I arrived. Team leader Wang Mei only allowed me to sleep for two hours over the first two days.
