(Clearwisdom.net) Jing Lian, a practitioner from Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province, has a plot of land of about one-third of an acre. At the beginning of this year, there was hardly any rain and it was very difficult to plant crops.
Jing Lian's husband was very worried as their income for the entire year comes from this land--how could they work it without any water? Because of worrying about this, he could not eat or sleep well. Seeing this, Jing Lian tried to comfort him, "We are Falun Gong practitioners, and Master is looking after us. There will be a solution, so please don't worry." Then, at about 11:40 p.m. on May 16, the sky began to cloud over and it started to rain. They kept track of the time: the rain did not stop until midnight; it kept raining for 20 minutes.
The next day, Jing Lian's husband went out to look at the land. There was plenty of water in their reservoir. He was very happy and started to plant their crops. Some neighbors came by and asked with surprise, "Did you get water from somewhere else?" The husband told them that the water had come from the rain. However, hardly any rain had fallen on the other plots of land nearby. It was as if the rain had specifically come for Jing Lian's family.
The people in the village were all very surprised by this. Some said, "See, nobody is able to plant crops except for Jing Lian's family." Others said, "They are Falun Gong practitioners, and we cannot compare with them. Heaven blesses good people." Jing Lian's husband was very happy when he heard this.
Now it is autumn, and Jing Lian's family has a big harvest. Everyone in their village knows that this is because they practice Falun Gong. Other families in the village, however, either had to change to growing other crops due to lack of water, or leave their land uncultivated this year.
