There is always a good turnout for the New York Fa conferences since you all know that Master spends a lot of time in the New York area. Each Dafa disciple is trying his utmost to do what he should do on the path of validating the Fa, and since what you are doing at present is closely linked to your cultivation, you are in fact cultivating this way. The form that your cultivation takes has one cultivate in ordinary human society, and people in different social classes or different professions can all cultivate; and as you reside in different societies and make use of the different professions you are in to validate the Fa and save sentient beings in every corner of the world, you are utilizing this present form of society to cultivate.

The chair of the judges committee Ma Changzi said, "It is not important who wins. The importance of this competition is that traditional and classical music get promoted, and more people will benefit from hearing the best music."
(Clearwisdom.net) On November 3, 2008, Chen Yunlin, President of the China-based Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS), arrived in Taiwan. The Taiwan-based Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) set up a reception banquet in the Taipei 101 Building. Afterwards, as Chen stepped outside the 101 Building, over 200 Falun Gong practitioners called out, "Falun Dafa is good!" and "Stop persecuting Falun Gong!"
(Clearwisdom.net) On October 7, the Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of Falun Gong practitioners from Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore, was invited to perform at the Dasara Festival in Mysore, India. More than 400 thousand people, including monks and lamas, attended this Buddhist event. The Divine Land Marching Band received a warm welcome.
