(Clearwisdom.net) According to a police insider, after the recent National People's Congress (NPC) and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (the two meetings are held at the same time and serve as the annual political convention for the Chinese Communist Party), the district and county police departments in and around Shijiazhuang City in China's Hebei Province received orders from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP): Every police station was to arrest at least one Falun Dafa practitioner.
Police in Shijiazhuang area conducted a well-planned operation on March 25, 2011. According to reports published on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net), officers from 7 police departments harassed at least 24 families. At least 23 practitioners were arrested at home; nearly 20 of them are detained.
1. Ms. Lu Ran of Shijiazhuang Arrested
Officers from the Donghuan Police Station of the Yuhua Police Department arrested Ms. Lu at home around 9:30 a.m. on March 25, 2011. She is imprisoned at the Shijiazhuang Detention Center.
2. Mr. Gai Wufan of Shijiazhuang Arrested
Officers from the Donghuan Police Station of the Yuhua Police Department arrested Mr. Gai at home after 7:00 a.m. on March 25, 2011. The officers searched his home. He was later released.
3. Mr. Yi Jianhui of Shijiazhuang Arrested
Officers from the Taoyuan Police Station arrested Mr. Yi at home on the morning of March 25, 2011. They seized his computer and other property.
4. Mr. Gao Hanzhong of Shijiazhuang Arrested
Mr. Gao was arrested by plain-clothes officers near the Yunan Park around 2:00 p.m. on March 24, 2011. He was taken to the Huitong Police Station.
5. Officers from the Huanghedadao Police Station Harassed Practitioners
A half dozen officers from the Huanghedadao Police Station, including Wei Binchun and Li Jianzhou, went to the homes of Ms. Lu Rongfeng and Mr. Hu Xingai. Ms. Lu was not at home, but her son was. Officers seized her son's computer, new cell phone, two Falun Dafa books, and the photo of Master Li Hongzhi. Mr. Lu's home was spared because no one was at home.
6. More Than Ten Practitioners Arrested in Zhengding County
Officer Liu Fengjian and others from the Domestic Security Division of Zhengdiang County Police Department, Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province broke into practitioners' homes around 6:00 a.m. and on the evening of March 25, 2011. They arrested more than ten practitioners, took them to the county Chinese traditional medicine hospital for physical exam. Some guessed the exam was the first step of forced labor. The known arrested practitioners are Bai Jingyi, Zhang Yingping, Ms. Shao Yanqin, Ms. Li Fengzheng and her husband Cui (first name unknown).
7. Mr. Zhen Yongwei of Jingxing County Railroad Station Arrested
Officers from the Jingxing County Railroad Station Police Station and the Shijiazhuang Railroad Police Department arrested Mr. Zhen at home and searched his home on March 25, 2011. They seized his two computers, DVD recorder, copy machine, and cell phone.
8. Practitioners of Jingxing County Were Harassed
Wang Xiding, director of the Domestic Security Division of Jingxing County, commanded officers from the Weisui Town Police Station, including Li Shaoyun and Zhang Yanrong, to search practitioners' homes at 7:00 a.m. on March 25, 2011. They arrested practitioners, took them to the police station, took their pictures and got their fingerprints. The arrested practitioners were Ms. Wang Pingqin, Ms. Pan Lizhu, Ms. Deng Guoyun, Ms. Dan Lihua and Ms. Bai Yuzi who stayed over night at Ms. Dan's home. The officers seized their computers, DVDs, MP3 players, Falun Dafa books and VCDs. Former practitioner Liu Lihui was harassed at the same time.
9. The Home of Mr. Liu Haiqiang of Xinji City Was Ransacked
Officers ransacked the home of Mr. Li in Dongzhangkou Village, Tianjiazhuang Township, Xinji City, Hebei Province at noon on March 25, 2011. Mr. Liu was not at home. The officers tried to arrest his wife but failed.
