During the past 12 years of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) suppression of Falun Gong, Ms. Chen was arrested eight times for her faith. She served a one-year term in a forced labor camp, and was then sentenced to five years in prison. She died in Changchun Women's Prison in February 2011.
