(Minghui.org) Just prior to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) Eighteenth Congress, I noticed a large poster frame carrying messages that slandered Falun Dafa. I was unhappy about this and wanted to remove it. The posters were protected inside a locked stainless steel frame with an acrylic cover. The acrylic was very strong and barely moved when I tapped the surface.
Local practitioners determined that the slanderous posters had to be removed. First, we mailed truth-clarification materials to representatives of the community committee; we then posted Falun Dafa flyers over the acrylic window. However, our flyers were removed, so we tried to spray paint the acrylic cover to hide the posts, but the paint was easily washed off. We painted it again, but it was washed off again. This was repeated several times. We looked inward, and found a number of attachments, including attachments to doing things, being irritable, etc.
We realized that the process of eliminating evil posters was also a process of explaining the truth to people, saving them, and our own cultivation. We discussed these issues with fellow practitioners. Some suggested using oil-based paints that would be very difficult to wash off. The more you try to wash them, the worse it smears and eventually the acrylic will be useless. We agreed that we should not use this method unless it was the last resort, and that it would be best if the defaming posters were themselves removed. People would be saved once they understood the truth, and wouldn't have any misunderstandings about Falun Gong; the acrylic cover and frame would be undamaged as well.
We decided to mail the truth-clarification materials again. This time, we paid special attention and modified an existing letter for the staff working at the Political and Judiciary Committee, the Police Department, Procuratorate, and the 610 Office. We also included people at the community Residential Committee. We added language about being rewarded for treating Falun Dafa nicely, compared to facing retribution for defaming Dafa. Additionally, we added a flyer about withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. We sent righteous thoughts intensively close by the poster frame and asked Master to strengthen us. The evil posters were removed three days after mailing the letter, and the posters next to it were not touched. We sincerely thank Master.
There is a positive, beneficial effect from mailing letters and flyers that clarify the truth. When the responsible individuals' names are incorporated in the letters, they will read it, which definitely has some effect. The persecution was very serious in our region in 2009, and I saw some slanderous banners on very visible places of some business buildings. We went there three times and sent righteous thoughts, but with no effect (our xinxing wasn't high enough). We researched the names of the managers of those businesses in the buildings and sent letters which clarified the truth directly to those people. Several days later, the banners were changed with some other content.
We do not include business names when addressing the envelopes, but only use street addresses. We also don't list a person's work title on the letters, we use Mr., friend, classmate, etc.
In fact, Master has planned everything for us, we just need to do it.
Heshi!
